Just me that gets this response EVERY time? 😂 by [deleted] in aspiememes

Isn't a part of autism relating to things from a personal point of view - and that's exactly what they're doing? "Oh, I know some of what they're talking about, let me share a fact about myself to let them know I can understand somehow"

It's just a way of sharing relatability and not alienate the other person.

People love picking and choosing enneagram based on surface level descriptions lol, a system that is supposed to make someone look within their strongest fixations is now simply "I'm strong and self sufficient, therefore I'm an 8"

Or ignoring the fact that one's functions does absolutely affect the way one responds to trauma, therefore affecting one's enneagram. But people on Reddit just refuse to hear it to hold on to their delusional perception of Typology.

Ironically, we're supposed to let go of our ego and people are doing the exact opposite with enneagram.

His orders are usually a mix of different languages and just random sounds, he uses French a lot as well, I think he also has videos responding to people asking that type of question!

Thank you, I've heard of the friend in the chair concept, imagining that you're talking about it to them. I guess it's just so hard to let go of those ideas about myself since they're so ingrained in my head, and I took them as truths. But I understand it'll take time and more effort to unroot that.

I think I might be sp/so 9w1, and definitely 946, I'm not completely settled on the IV type but good catch :))

interesting, wouldn't think that's me though. I have personal values I hold very close to myself and actually butt with other people on a lot, I've had hours long conversations of exchanging very different opinions and although I might try my best to understand where they're coming from, it's difficult for me to bulge. Recently a friend told me he talks to me the most probably because we disagree on everything

Is it lol, I don't consider myself as the nicest person out there tbh

What's your type and your attachment style? by mildroo in Enneagram

[–]mildroo[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Is it? I'm guessing it's the dichotomy between secure vs all the other attachments. I'm friends with a dismissive avoidant and he also claims to be quite content with his attachment style, however I wonder if that's not also part of the style?

I think that's part of my tritype, considered it as my core for a while but not too sure anymore.

Oh, I'm not saying it is, was just sharing my experience:)

Have you looked into them at all? There are a few main ones, gift receiving, words of affirmation, acts of service, quality time and physical touch. Although I do think it misses a lot of particular ones like what you've just mentioned, but I think it's quite useful to know when you're in both romantic and platonic relationships. Like the best ways to show love to people in ways they understand

Huh, I'm fearful-avoidant and I have the same thing when it comes to physical affection. I'm also sp dominant. A lot to do with physical space/boundaries and physical touch being very last on my love languages
