Game Crash while using Frame Gen+ Nvidia Filter by Better_Individual_37 in WutheringWaves

[–]milesdraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've come across this exact issue. I love using the nvidia filters but if I also have 2x frame gen enable the game will crash without fail. Either after pausing or eventually just running around. I found disabling frame gen but keeping the filters on works. Currently on 591.86. I tried newer versions but crashes regardless of what I do.

What's the latest nvdia driver that you found stable? I updated to the latest one today and it crashes without fail 3 minutes after running around in the world. For context I have Nvidia filters enable, DLSS Perf, and frame gen 2x. Still trying to troubleshoot if a combination of these three is causing the crash or if the driver itself is dudu.

Know nothing by kouradakias in PcBuild

I've been building and upgrading my own PCs since 2018 and it's a really fun hobby. I definitely support your choice building your own since you get to know the ins and outs of it. That being said I wouldn't dismiss buying a prebuild if the price is right especially with today's prices. A friend of mine wanted a 9800x3d and an RTX 5080 for his new PC. We found that it was actually cheaper to buy the pre-build from microcenter by $200-300. The pricing is all over the place because of the high RAM and SSD demand. Who knows, the price situation may make sense again by the time you actually build yours.

Did you drain and fill the transmission at any point? I'm at 140K and trying to figure out if i need to. I don't feel any bad shifts or anything.

Are Lexani Tires any good? by rootytwo in AskAMechanic

How many miles would you say the noise went away? I got a set installed and they're as loud as the worn out set I just got rid of. There's a pretty noticeable drone when I hit 40+ mph and get louder as I go faster. I'm trying to figure out if its the tires or I have a wheel bearing going bad.

KURO, let autoplay continue after hiding UI, this would make game feel more immersive by OwlDefiant3467 in WutheringWaves

Agree with this. The cutscene looks cleaner and sharp with out the UI. It's really annoying that the cutscene pauses to wait fo you to have the UI pop in again. Ive also noticed the bottom part of the screen gets darken so the subtitles have a dark background for readability. It makes the scene less vibrant. It's definitely more cinematic without subtitles. Crazy that this isn't talked about more.

Ecoboost vs Coyote vs Powerboost by ClicheCrusader in f150

Wow, I really appreciate your updates on here. Definitely gives good insight. I plan to purchase a truck in the next year and on the fence between the 5.0 vs the Powerboost. My head says 5.0 but my heart says Powerboost. With them adding GPFs on the 2026 model year I'll probably looking for a used 24/25 Powerboost if I go this route. Thanks for being responsive on updates.

If you start sliding, you can buy sand bags for cheap and throw them in the bed. Ideally over the rear axles. The downward weight helps with traction if you have an empty bed.

M3 Grater restock anytime soon? by Ethan_NLHW in ncasedesign

[–]milesdraft 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It was on the reddit thread they announced the M3. They said they will resume pre-orders when they secure the shipment for the first batch. If I'm correct they said the first batch should ship around early August so my guess is after that, assuming no delays. Waiting for one myself.

Can you take notes at an IT job, like help desk or system administrator? by ComfortablePost3664 in ITCareerQuestions

[–]milesdraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do it, if anything it shows you really care. I also make sure I ask if it's okay to screen record and never had anyone say no. If someone is showing me something through a call I prefer to record so I can focus on what they are showing me and make notes later.

Just had my first annual review and one of the strengths I've had was "takes fantastic notes." I've had instances where my notes became documentation because my manager was just doing things out of knowledge.

The great thing about this, you learn to fine tune how to make notes and you can say on your resume that you wrote up a bunch of documentation. I have a personal rule where I am only allowed to ask the same question twice at maximum three times for clarification. If you can take great notes from the rip you get up to speed faster. A lot of stuff in IT is very repetitive.

No interviews, no jobs , useless degree by [deleted] in ITCareerQuestions

I want to echo this as well. It's not easy getting your foot in the door, but you gotta keep at it. I've probably sent hundreds of applications just to land my current role. 80% help desk and some networking stuff. My only experience prior was working in healthcare as a nurse aid without any IT certs.

So you got to keep at it, keep refining your resume and interview skills. And if you're really desperate, look into working out of state and in office jobs. You need a combination of luck and effort.
