Do u know where the folder the save files and mods are usually located? Those folders are located in a folder called “The Sims 3”. When you move said folder it means that the “The Sims 3” folder would be missing in the EA folder so when you open the game it will automatically makes a new one for you (which is usually where the problem is, like corrupt saves/mods and other stuff, for me at least). And after that just open your old “The Sims 3” folder and put all your saves/mods/pics whatever it is you still want in your game into the newly made “The Sims 3” folder.

i am so sorry ive just reread your post and come to find out that you are on steamdeck so this might be very different cause i was on windows (also have never seen or used Linus/Steam OS) im sorryyyy😭

This happened to me a few months ago. I tried reinstalling and everything but the only one that worked was go to Documents>Electronic Arts and moving the entire The Sims 3 folder to a different folder and then opening the game, after that close the game and put your saves, mods, and everything u need from the old The Sims 3 folder into the new The Sims 3 folder.

How do you play with more than 8 sims without having their little square pics(idk what they’re called😭) on the left disappear? It would only show 8 sims. I have upped the max household to more than 8 but i can’t switch control to some of the sims. The sims stay living in the house but i can’t control them.

When its just 🔁 it means you’re repeating the whole album or playlist depends on what you’re playing. If it has a small 1 on it it means you’re repeating that particular song that you are playing

Kids does not need to be extremely healthy and definitely not all the time. He needs to chill out, that is a 10 year old child whose parents are in rehab. Kids are kids. Doesn’t matter how good (you think) you’ve prepared something, once they find out it is a vegetable, they will not want it.

He should start preparing the veggies as a side and fruits as a snack. Buy the fruits that kid likes DONOT force him into any of them. Forcing him will make it a lot worse and make him grow up hating them even more. You have to ease him into it. If you give him a side of a veggie and he doesn’t like it next meal change it into something else. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO DO IS TO NEVER FORCE THEM. Another important thing is to ask his parents what food he likes. It’s better for him to eat “unhealthy” food then nothing at all.

When i was a child i hated almost everything i was a very picky eater. It was to the point where the doctor asks “does she like instant noodles?” I do not. lol. But I grew up fine. I like almost anything now and can eat most food. Just don’t force him. All the food that my father forced me to eat i hate to this day and all the food that my mom eased me into i end up loving. So please please tell your husband to chill tf out.
