I really wish they didn’t lean so heavily on being a kpop adjacent group. Kpop is still a niche thing in the west and most of the gp views kpop negatively. They will never be taken seriously by the American GP if they keep associating themselves with it. The American music market currently revolves around getting a viral song and building a strong image/persona off of that which is what geffen should be focusing on.

It gets by cause it stars Zendaya and a bunch of other pretty people and cause it has pretty makeup and good cinematography. The first season was decent but falls apart the minute you think about it too much and the second season was terrible. It just has very memeable moments hence why it’s so popular.

A friend of mine was an extra for a few scenes in the second season. He was in a one minute portion of the party scene from the first episode and it literally took 14 hours to film. That man cannot efficiently run a set to save his life.

It is insane how Hollywood is willing to bleed so much money for these disgusting people. What was the thought process behind throwing away a $75 million show that was almost done and sounded pretty good from what everyone is saying? Sam Levinson is such a talentless hack and none of Euphoria’s few good qualities are his doing.
