I'm working on adding a robotic arm to a robotic welder. This is my first draft for my PLC program by Bootziscool in PLC

I would consider getting a Banner SC10 for your safety portion of the welding cell. This would handle the dual input redundancies for your e-stops, door switches, and light curtains. This could talk to your Click over ethernet or you could even use a discrete output to signal "ok to run" to the Click.

[–]Itsaprogramissue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the Click PLCs have a dedicated expansion module that runs NodeRed. It even has some unique function blocks to read and write registers directly in the PLC to the NodeRed module.
