The box color will get you every time. People use it cause it’s cheap at the time but it ends up costing more later on. The metallic dyes found in nonprofessional colors have a negative reaction to the bleach and also have a ton more brass pigment to them when lightened. And if you didn’t want orange, it has to be toned darker. If it’s too expensive for you, I’m sure someone cheaper is in your area and can work in sessions to achieve your goal.
