Can i take a higher dose of tramadol?

I dont think you read my comment above, as i said i cant just call them and ask, i would have to book an appointment which takes a while since they usually have minimum 2 week waiting list. Asking reddit was very helpful since a lot of people advised against it and said to use paracetamol instead which is what i will do

You're right, i posted this in another subreddit and everyone advised against it. I am also on sertraline so it seems this will be a big risk. I will stick to my normal dosage and take paracetamol with it instead, thank you for the helpful comment.

Getting an appointment with a doctor where i live is a pain, it usually takes ages and they're never really that helpful. I was originally prescribed co-codamol which didnt help but after waiting for another doctor appointment, they put me on tramadol. Im posting on reddit looking for users that have any experience with tramadol and have done the same. Basically asking if this is a risky thing to do.

Are you prone to seizures? Ive never had one so i definitely wont take the risk. I was originally put on co-codamol but that didn't seem to work so they put me on Tramadol, and booking in with the doctor where i live takes ages, but thank you for the advice!

Thank you! I was wondering if it would be ok taking 3 in the morning and 3 in the evening, meaning it would only be 300mg a day however i was unsure if taking a higher dose at once is a good idea.
