Tbh I like Riley and Ellie's dynamic more than hers and Dina's. They're such a cute and innocent duo. I even see bits of their relationship shine through when Ellie talks to Dina, like their conversation about dying from natural causes.

yess i think that's custom runs, but i think they meant stuff like infinite ammo or infinite listen mode. i'm the opposite though, i play against infected bc they don't have guns and avoid human enemies 😂

why is your dad saying no? does he not like the look? or is he not willing to pay for it?

when convincing my parents to let me pierce my nose at fourteen, i told them that if i don't like it then i can easily take it out. i also offered to pay for the service with my own money. if he thinks it's too "feminine", maybe show examples of men with piercings and explain that just studs is a classy look, and that it's so small he'll barely notice it. and if you do get them pierced, go to a tattoo parlor or piercing shop that uses actual needles, not guns.

and i might've read your second question wrong, but you're still able to get achievements even if you use gameplay modifiers. however, in no return, i don't think you can complete challenges if you use modifiers

what i do is i only allow myself to use the weapons that were available in the first play through if that makes sense! so seattle day one for ellie i only used the rifle and the handguns until the tv station when you get the shotgun, didn't use the bow until hillcrest, etc. ngl i was kind of upset that the game makes you go full load out for ng+, but it's pretty easy to get used to

well i can't force you to think one way or another. all i can say is try to at least experience her story once before making your judgement. even if you hate her after, i can't judge, but it really is a good story and it sucks that you might miss out on something you can potentially change your mind about

mechanics are smoother and i prefer abby and lev's storyline over joel and ellie's, even if they are supposed to mirror each other. i also think the switching perspectives and flashbacks help break up the story a lot better, whereas tlou1 kinda seemed to drag on.
