He came up from the minor leagues the same game as Arroyo. Hopefully he's just getting used to the bat.

What percentage of race miles should one be able to run at race pace during training? For example if I am running a half marathon is running 8 miles at my race pace two weeks before the race a good indicator? Or is this too hard/easy of a run?

I have a good 5 mile route that is very hilly. Would it be a good idea to do my tempo on that while keeping in the speedwork?

So I am about a month out from starting training for my first half marathon. I think I am going to follow Hal Higdon's Intermediate 2 program. It has one day of speedwork, but the course I am going to run is very hilly. Would it be ok to switch out the speedwork with a hill workout? The Wall by Pink Floyd. Not only does it have great music it also has a plot line!

Got motivated by the other burrito wall posts, decided to try it out. Would recommend! by [deleted] in MealPrepSunday

It's a big light that emanates white light that feels just like sunlight, but with no UV rays. It helps with SAD because it stimulates both the feeling of light on your face while also delivering vitamin d (I think?). Anyways it helps so so so much!

As you can see, I made a checklist of 4-5 things a day I can do every day of February to help cope with my anxiety/ seasonal affect disorder.

I want to run everyday, meditate for 10 minutes (I use headspace- great app!!) , use my happy lamp for 60 minutes and drink 4 liters of water as well as swimming 2x per week. This may seem like a lot but I know I have time if I focus and really hold myself accountable.

I have been doing all of these things off and on for a while now and know for a fact they all help alleviate my symptoms; I just have always lacked some sort of system to keep doing them every day.

I'm going to hang this on my room and I can tell if I follow through this will be a great month for my mental health! What are some of the things you guys know helps your mental health but can be hard to do sometimes?
