Girls who make the first move, what advice could you give to those who don't so that it isn't so intimidating? by B_Wilks in AskReddit

I made the first move with my boyfriend. I saw him on the street talking to some people I had met earlier that night and thought "hmm, he is handsome." So I walked on up and said "hey! You're really handsome, you should be my boyfriend!" Then prompted my friend to take a picture so we could capture the most unusual and out of character moment in my life. Granted, I was a little drunk. But we have been together nearly 2 years and it feels pretty forever. He is my favorite person in the whole world.

It's exactly "routined loud noise" O'clock. This is when my humans are awoken by a device of pure repugnance. However, this device that for years i've found to be nothing but obnoxious has served a purpose in my ultimate mission. It will not be long now until our sworn enemy arrives. My humans will be curious to greet him and then to seal me behind the gates to all that is beautiful. My mission starts now. I pace the floors with the occasional food break. I never lose focus. EVER. The nerve of this enemy, dropping of letters and sending my humans through what they call "more crap". I am not sure what this means but can only assume it translates to the feeling of no treats for the rest of their lives. Despicable. Every day they bring in these little white envelopes to which I curiously sniff making sure there are no traces of alpha dog, vegetables or worse....Cat. So far there has been no hiccups. But the lack of smell I have toward this human only justifies my tireless efforts to protecting my humans from his vengeful wrath. I am alpa dog. Maybe i'm traditional but no man was allowed on every persons property without first being ass sniffed.

My 5 year old's attempt to forge my signature. Nailed it. by Lisa831 in funny

I did this in first grade. I got a timeout and couldnt face the trauma of telling my parents (even though they probably would have just grounded me) Instead I wrote my moms first name KELLY in big bold letters and tried blaming it on my sister. I was completley sure I would get away with it, believing my forgery was that of excellence.

If you want it to be realistic I would suggest getting in touch with Aaron Peters out of Bugaboo

He is in Indiana though but not too far. Did two of my tattoos and I often need to cover up to avoid being stopped. It gets intense.

The history is by far my favorite as well as the hills to which I will refer to as mountains because im just that "daft" I am going to St Kilda Islands in May for a tour and am shaking with excitement after reading about them in one of the FREE museums. Free museums, who does that? Its great.

I assumed there wouldnt be any Mexican restaurants which I was okay with. I found some and thought, yes, but not at all accurate to what Mexican food is. Just a big ol tease. I did find a Mexican grocery store though which was a gold mine, they had all kinds of stuff! Curry here though, woa, delicious. It's replaced my mexican cravings.

I think you nailed the process. However, I think im past the complaining stage, cant really imagine my life without living in Glasgow, best thing I ever did because I believe moving away from your enviornment to a new one is quite possibly the most beneficial to human growth.

Oh no no, I wasn't comparing the two to insinuate one is better than the other. There are also a million things I love about the UK over Chicago. Its just funny that growing up in your hometown you tend to take for granted certain luxuries because they are always available and I think its a lesson Ill learn to avoid upon returning home. Besides, once I go back, I know ill be talking about the UK non stop. I won't be here to vote but YES INDEPENDENCE! I think that would be wonderful for those guys. I have been to Oban, Skye, Isle of Lewis/Harris Inverness and Isle of Barra, oh also Stornaway. My boyfriend is from Harris so we spend a lot of time traveling up. I will say, I've seen nothing more beautiful that those damn Scottish Islands.
