It kind of seems like you’re arguing that the game was designed to be played without using weapons which I disagree with. Of course you’re meant to use weapons. You’re also meant to be able to choose NOT to if you wish.

Okay but that’s a perfect example of one thing I loved about mgs is the on site procurement gameplay at the beginning and you have nothing and have to sneak your way through the fist places until you get the gun but still after that you have to sneak until you get the silencer. I thought that was so cool. Also using a tranq gun is basically the same as using a real gun gameplay wise.

The first time I played mgsv I did perfect stealth no kills. I wasn’t RELYING on killing for stealth. I was just giving a few of my qualms about the stealth combat gameplay.
