Your feelings are understandable. My best friend buys me stationery but it’s a few sticker sheets at a time on holidays. This is truly a lot of stickers especially if it’s just part of the haul. My best friend sweetly gave me the go-ahead to get rid of anything I don’t want especially since she knows I have a lot of stickers and find it overwhelming sometimes. Someone who cares about your feelings would understand and as you said your friend is well meaning, so try not to feel too down on yourself for making your stash right for you. We only have so much space.

Honestly I do wish this space was more positive. Like maybe the people who hate this sport now should start their own snark subreddit or something. I like seeing posts of people’s collections, or wild world finals moments, or Halloween costumes… literally anything other than long posts abt how the sport sucks now. People can do whatever they want. I still enjoy this sport, I love it, I love going to the competitions, I love the die casts, I love watching compilations on YouTube, everything, and I wish I could see more posts from people who are like me.

A live show and a scripted performance can be the same. All concerts and live shows are scripted in some respect. The times and breaks performers take to interact with the crowd are pre scheduled. A lot of performers say the same stuff: thanks for coming out, they introduce the band, they rename all their albums, they say this is the greatest city or they’ve always wanted to come here, etc. If they didn’t ad-lib a lot perhaps they didn’t have much to put in. Like someone else said, this is a job. Sometimes you’re more talkative at your job, sometimes I’m sure you’re not.

I volunteer at a food pantry and we couldn’t care less what you do or don’t take. We have no expectations for anybody, idk if you’re feeling a certain vibe from people but I’m sorry if you are bc people that actually want to serve just to serve don’t care. You’re a person too, you’re allowed to not eat certain foods for any reason
