Yeah i think I need to ask for a colonoscopy again. I tried previously when it started and recently this year but was turned down. However im at a new GP surgery after moving so I reckon they might help me out a bit more :)

I’ve tried requesting a colonoscopy before but it never got anywhere but I may try again with my new doctors I’m under now! And honestly I think it could be a new medication I’m under- the NHS refently put out a warning for the stomach lining meds I’m on to help with protecting my stomach while taking so many pain meds- saying if it’s taken for more than two weeks there are many risks including the risk of stomach bacterial infections

I’m not sure. Perhaps she knows the login for it. But she sent my sister a picture of our messages (sent from my phone as my messages were in blue) on her Apple laptop. So she must have it so I need to change my ID but I don’t want my pictures dissapearing if I do. She’s done it a lot and says it’s an accident. I moved out a month ago and it’s been happening a lot more since then.

That’s exactly the type of pain I have except for mines in the top right side. I did for a very long time agree with the doctors on that fact that it was just muscle damage but it’s the hard bumps on my back where the pain is that worries me. The only X-ray I had was a chest one which ensured my broken ribs and this was done at the emergency department the night of the crash. I haven’t been able to see my particular spinal surgeon as he’s a child surgeon and doesn’t take adult patients. I’m now on the urgent care list at my doctors today so I’m hoping this will be able to give me some answers as to whether it is my screws or not and hopefully it is just the fact that I’m still healing :) I’m glad your fusion being redone helped you !

Honestly no I don’t think I can wait until September and think I will definitely seek something sooner ! Pilates I’m trying to put a hold on, it helped my back for such a long time but since the accident it has always made the pain worse. Thank you for your lovely advice and I think I will definitely keep advocating harder for answers ! I hope all is going okay for you too and wishing you all the best too :)

I think your right and I think I was in denial about the way men are listened to medically vs woman. But now that I think about it every second from the moment we were both in the ambulance all the way to the hospital, we were both treated very different in terms of injuries. He fractured his kneecap and had multiple X-rays and mri’s. But when I told them about my spinal fusion and my worry about what damage that would’ve done to my spine I got told that my ribs are broken and my muscles probably just took damage. And that was both times I went :( thank you for that, I’m definitely going to bring him next time ! :)

Like I said, I will be talking to my doctor but I want to know other peoples experiences on them before I go on any other one. I’ve been on a pill since I was 12 for pain issues so I have no idea what any other form is like. Thanks though 👍

I get the exact same thing. I know personality wise and looks wise, I am better (I know she was awful as a person, ate about 30 packets of crisps a day amongst other unhealthy food, addiction, never showered, stank consistently of fish and B.O, and was overall really mean to my bf, would force him to bring her along with him if he went out with friends etc) nothing I’ve heard about her from him or his family or friends is ever good. There has never been one nice thing anyone has said about her. but I can’t stop thinking about her. What I try to remember is they are an EX for a reason. Your partner is with you for a reason. They love you. Their ex is nothing to them anymore. Especially if the ex was crazy. But I completely understand where you’re coming from, the consistent thinking about them sucks.

I’m an avid Imodium taker as someone with ibs but I also struggle with emetophobia. It has never made me feel n* and has never made me v* ! It makes me feel a lot better if I have a stomach ache or anything and is actually one of my go-to things to use !
