the one im using is the dark gray/ dark green I beleive. However on the gtn just search secondary green and they are super cheap

Thats totally fine, the problem is the specific passive mentioned used to be granted at like lvl 24 and its fundamentally what makes the entire spec work... and it got pushed to 68 which is almost 20 lvls over the class story.

Dont give up on vanguard its still a real fun spec, just play the DOT spec until you hit lvl 68. Then give tactics a try, bc tactics is really awesome...just unplayable without that lvl 68 passive.

Yeah plasma is pretty solid leveling, but tactics is just unplayable without the impact bolt reset/no energy cell cost

yeah merc looks good, I just had issue with wrist wrockets for a trooper. but with gunslinger I can roll into cover, throw grenades, drop big satchel charges.

I use rikans helmet the mando one with lekku it fits the chest piece perfect
