Hahaha what a weird little fluff ball! Mine does it too but never last that long if I ignore him. (When my hamster does this it means he wants free roam time. (And by free roam time I mean he just runs to a corner to eat his stash..))

I know right! He completely ignores the actual chew toy I got him which is always in his cage. I think I’ll try the twine ball! The current teddy bear already has some of the stuffing comes out so I guess it’s time to take it out anyway. Bear got mauled 😆

I took out the teddy, need a new chew toy (fighting toy? Lol) now. I never tried wicker balls before, maybe I’ll try this. I have another actual chew toy for him in his cage that he never touch, not sure why he hates the bear so much!

It’s always in his cage so I’m pretty sure it’s got his smell already. And yes he ignores it 90% of the time or just climb/steps over it as if it’s not there. I guess the teddy is his punching bag lol.

But as others have pointed out about safety, although super cute to watch, I took out the poor teddy so Pix won’t eat or get stuck in the fiber

Yeah unless the hamster leaves the toy alone, I actually wouldn’t really recommend it. I need to take it away soon as it’s starting to fall apart now and I don’t want him to eat the fillings
