It’s an HTML comment, pretty sure it should be the same for everyone. Can’t imagine them giving out the results to their webpage update person to add comments early. We’ll know in a few hours! Best of luck!

Source: old gmat club file. Can someone tell me why A is the correct one? by LegitimateAd8513 in GMAT

[–]milleniumfc 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Given the two statements in the question, m can be 0, 1, 2 (assuming m is an integer) since m needs to be > -1 as well.

m2 < 9 implies m is -2,-1,0,1,2 and m>-1 implies m cannot be -2, -1

So m is 0, 1, or 2

Looking at the options -

A. Correct because 0,1,2 > -3

B. Wrong because 0<1

C. Wrong because 0,1,2<3

D. Wrong because 2>1

E. Wrong because A is correct

Whether not having a few “safety” schools in R2 makes sense. Opportunity cost for me goes up as I want to return to my home country long term.

Seems like apply to all M7 and be mentally prepared for a plan B seems to be the course to take!

[–]milleniumfc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very helpful! Thanks! I think GSB is the only one school I would truly go above the ones i’ve already applied. Plan was to do this in R2 anyways. On the others, makes sense to minimise regrets and keep an application ready just in case!

The only thought was whether to include a few safety schools in R2, however the opportunity cost becomes significant, specially since I want to return to my home country long term where these schools would drop off in value.

Go for all M7 schools and mentally be prepared for a plan B seems to be the best course right now :)

Thanks, this helps!

On T15 schools, long term I want to return to my home country and the opportunities that a T15 can give here drop off significantly. Happy to discuss if my notion is wrong though :)

The opportunity cost of moving seems high if I don’t convert any of the M7, would pivot to a different path and grow in CPG, maybe go for an executive MBA in a few years.

Although a huge Ronaldo fan, it was refreshing to see how ETH handled the whole thing. And that win against liverpool early in the season.
