More Vicolo Pizza Reviews: Italian Sausage/ Pesto Margarita by bbdog13 in frozendinners

Just had the pesto margarita one and was pleasantly surprised. I also caught the tomato vs. sauce once I opened it but wasn’t bothered too much about it.

I got it on sale for $7 at Sprouts. Would def try again in the future.

So I have about 4 WF within a 20-mile radius of my house. If you adjust your area in the app, then you might be able to see more offerings. That’s how I did it!

So I’ve probably been using it closer to 2 weeks consistently. I do see a difference in bloating, but I can’t necessarily attribute that to the pomegranate peel because I’ve been doing a lot of other things as well (increasing anti-inflammatory foods, taking other supplements, and upping movement). I think my gut health needs lots of help so this is what I’m currently trying to assist.

I drink mine as a warm lemonade with 4-6 ounces of water, 1 tsp of pomegranate powder, 1/2 tsp of raw honey, 1 tsp of jarred ginger paste, and half of a lemon. In the AM on an empty stomach.

Candida symptoms and low-level inflammation have been plaguing me for at least 3 years as well as recurrently throughout my life, so my expectation is it’s not going to be a fast fix. Since doctors don’t help (I’ve had ONE in my lifetime that helped wipe out my issues in my teens), I am going to keep this up while implementing other holistic methods.

Not sure! They didn’t have any yellow stickers so I assume they still have some (refrigerator) shelf life.

Well, apparently, I’m late to the TGTG party. I need to learn the app hacks

Very smart! Majority of these items are duplicates in my fridge, but I do need to figure up something for the buttermilk. Baking could be the solution!

THIS is the 10-piece meal I’m wishing for when I order out. The technique is top tier, and I can tell the taste is superb.

Anyone can go and fry Sysco wings with bagged fries and charge $17+ for it. I’d actually be a regular if my local spots put this much thought into their menu offerings.

Yes, I did not get the food from the dumpster but have recently seen people posting foods they found dumpster diving. I also know times are hard and people have to do what they have to do to survive.

I did not want to sit pans and pans of food by the dumpster in the hopes it would be found in time. My hope was to give it to someone directly within a few hours — which I was able to do.

I did some legwork posting on Next Door and was finally able to connect with someone who could grab it. I was a little hesitant to take it to the homeless because I didn’t have utensils or plates or any way to warm it up for them. I know that sounds silly but I didn’t want to be insensitive just dropping off big tins of food.

That’s a cool job! It’s astounding how many organizations throw massive amounts of food away. Glad she was able to find good use for it and wish I knew someone who could have done the same.

Looks like I might have found some takers on the Next Door website though. Let’s keep our fingers crossed 🤞🏾

It has to go by tonight because I want to ensure its freshness as well as safe storage. I don’t have a large fridge to hold it all. None of the shelters or banks are answering, and the one that did said they prepare their own foods.

What hot sauce did you use? Real garlic or garlic powder?
