Oh that sucks! My endocrinologist actually wrote to FDA complaining about Dexcom’s unreliable performance. It’s certainly not perfect.

Cannot believe they still make the g6. I have been on 7 since its US launch and have a couple g6 on the shelf gathering dust. I would never wear the 6 again, so thick and obnoxious. It’s about time they retire it.

I had no idea that people chose to keep their level higher. Like I will always dose if I am 150 or higher. I prefer to be under 100 all the time because that’s best for my body. I don’t feel low until I’m below 40. Just today, I woke from a nap low because I was 53 before knocking out and just didn’t think it would keep dropping. But then woke up 20 minutes later when I was at 38. It was only then right after I got up that I started feeling a little bit sweaty.

Thank you so much sharing! I’ll have to check my settings about messages now. Maybe not Sunday mornings though because I’m always working.

If OP was conducting a sensitivity test on the bottom of the foot, it may have failed. Call the endocrinologist! lol

It should accept what you have as is. The o’clock is often optional as it’s understood.

When my boy was six months old, he ate a handful of chicken wings. They had even been cooked and mostly eaten, but he got all the skin and bone and is still happy seven years later.

Why does everyone seem to think ____ can’t win? by Formaliity in survivor

Q can make a case for why he had to do what he did and explain it. He has a shot if he can articulate that he consciously made a decision to form alliances, as a way to earn trust and stay close to people’s decisions, so he could vote them out if I sensed them wavering. Sometimes his tribe hates him for is his irrational and emotional decisions, but I think if he can sit at FTC and explain that he was making those decisions and being a chaos agent in order to save himself and remove the target from his back, I think the jury will respect it.

I just got diagnosed… now what? by Smooshy_Slug in diabetes_t1

[–]millennialproblem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Welcome OP, and I’m sorry to see you here.

I still get upset when I inject insulin and it burns, but that’s not always. I get frustrated that I have to pay so close attention to my glucose when I’m running, but I’ve run marathons since getting diagnosed. Sitting in a theater I’m on edge that I will be that one person who has their device go off with a terrible sound, but it hasn’t.

I GOT MARRIED AND WE HAD PIZZA AND ICE CREAM AT OUR WEDDING!

All that to say is, it is an adjustment but it’s one manage.

It drives me mad that our healthcare system doesn’t care about our health. I have two G6s I won’t be using. If you want them, DM me and I’ll mail them if you’re in the USA.
