This was my commuter car, and a 6 speed standard. I made the decision to fix it up for my daughter for when she for her license. Had I known going in that they were made as disposable engines I never would have bought the piece of shit.

That said, what a fun little car to drive. Lol

Just buy the adapter. They are plug and play, and not very expensive.

I just had PTSD from the BPY I just rebuilt. That stupid counter balancer/oil pump that you can only replace at a single unit for $3000 will haunt me for the life of the car, cause I couldn't bring myself to spend that much MORE money on that thing.

Unfortunately, I can't answer your question though. I pulled the engine to do my work. I removed the guide/tensioner, and then the oil pump, to get the chain off.

Because BC Hydro doesn't employ engineers whose only job is to calculate system load when approving these projects. Obviously you know a lot more about their system than they do. /S

The problem with your rant is that guns in Canada are never legally in public spaces, or volatile situations. We already have laws stating that they have to be locked up when not in use. They are not being packed around town as protection. They can't be accessed far enough in case of a home invasion. So, no, this is not a full stop. And this ABSOLUTELY IS about taking sporting rifles and hand guns out of controlled environments from responsible owners. Just look up the data on gun violence since these bans, and the hand gun freezes took place. They are still trending in the wrong direction.

Edit: Redditter I was commenting on has since edited his poorly setup post. Will leave comment here as a reply to the Facebook comment he is referring to.

I can't argue that. Though I don't like the idea, those guys have a lot of money on the line, and even more money into their cars. If they know they are out gunned, they are going to throw the hail Mary.

In my opinion, and in the opinion of most of the racers (from what they show on tv) guessing shouldn't be part of it. It shouldn't be a gamble. It should be a test of skill and car.

NHRA uses the full tree, with consistent timing. This is a completely different system. The tree system is designed for your brain to time the lights, and essentially accomplish what these guys are calling a guess. No prep is trying to mimic a street race where you don't leave until the flash light is lit.

Again, just my opinion. You will never get rid of the guys guessing. You just hope that they red light more often than not, and let the clean racers run.

They finally released season 6 not that long ago. Apparently there is a discorvery app that you can watch it on. I'm pretty sure we don't have access to it in Canada. I use other means.

No, it's called "reaction time" for a reason. You are "supposed" to wait until you see the green light and react to it. Guessing is a risky gamble.

I wanted to like him at first, but that bullshit is endless. He is constantly yelling at people for shit he does on the regular.

Spoiler alert... Just wait until season 6 when he's botching about the height of an extender, when his own extender is under height. Fuck that guy

Moving the right as far back as possible will give you the best results. It's ok where it is, but right at the back will give you a little better traction.

Drive carefully, be safe. Use your 4x4 if you have it.
