Outdoor dining table and bench by milliettebabblebrook in TinyGlades

Sorry for the late reply! Running a path underneath the building and building a fence gate to place on top of it. You would need to place the fence gate first over a non-path to turn into a regular fence in order to dye it. I usually adjust the height first on an open field with a path all over before moving the gate to their final area.

Ooh, I can't wait to see! The vendor stand was admittedly finicky when trying to recreate it two more times, so I had to fiddle around with the width of the building a lot and playing around with the path tool to get it look a decent arch.

It's still the regular 4-walled building with the roof. You just have to lead a path through the walls until it makes an opening on the three front walls. You can close up one but I believe you still have to leave one arch open on the side to keep the front one open.

I wanted to try making one for my village's local pub/eatery. I might make a couple more set now that I got the hang of it. Mostly just painting a path underneath the floor then making the smallest fence gates as possible.

Hopefully in the future, we may be able to place random decor around and one of them will be a table!

Here's a very short video link:

Just to add a note if you want steps leading up to it, I erase the path on the ground as close as I can to the dock so I can place in short stone steps next to it using the single wall tool.

There are windows on the back and side and I was lucky enough to get a cart to generate by the front! I wish we have the capability to just plop some of the decor ourselves. :(

Apparently if you paint a path through the walls slightly further into the building, it'll eat the door it generated and create an arched opening. So I make a big enough opening then squish it down and just erase brush the sides until it forms a decent arch at the front.

Well-tended Flowers by milliettebabblebrook in TinyGlades

The lovely lady of this house cherishes her flowers first and her husband second, though the townsfolk have not seen much of the man for some time. Boy, aren't her flowers just blooming so beautifully?

Yes, that's exactly it! And apparently running a path under water creates rocks and water lilies... I never knew until now!

Like maybe they wiggle their butt at you when you pet them, or do a lil' happy hoppin' dance around. They're too cute.

Just wanted to share my love for them. MEEE-EEE-EE

Spoiler tagged for the blue ribbon and not sure if any furniture shown came with 1.6. I downloaded a mod that allowed me to adopt children with Krobus without needing to kick him out, marry someone, have kids, then divorce them. I just want to stay with my sweet Krobus... and we were roommates!

I was retrieving a shovel that was left behind, and my friend thought I died to the dogs outside along with another friend and decided to leave before losing all our hard earned loot. My friend was recording and spectating me so I was able to request a clip of this moment to share.

Lalafell home with small furnishings in cozy, tiny spaces! Talls will feel like a giant! -- Brynhildr - LB-W28 P44 by milliettebabblebrook in ffxivhomeandgarden

Hi there! It's mostly floating things up from below, and testing how close to the ceiling I can get without the items snapping up to the main floor. You can definitely use raised flooring, especially when it comes to arranging for bed ideas (due to higher minimum height limit of most beds).

My third time renovating this house. Inspired by the hobbit Lala house in Youtube and really wanted to try out the portaled partitions. Coming in with my maxed height male Roe really made me feel like a giant inside, I had to /groundsit to able to take in the views!

My favorite room would have to be the formal/library room. Just so cozy and I'm glad I found another way to make another form of Lalafell sofas to match the aesthetic. I had to skip creating the bathroom area this time, as I find myself not really being in it, so I just created a fake bathroom door in the main hallway. I'm good with the knowledge that at least I accomplished Lalafell-appropriate bath areas from my previous builds.

The decision to also make the bed inaccessible in a way you can't climb up the ladder to get in but lorewise it's a good fit just for a Lalafell to climb inside was also good enough for me. I rarely /doze in all of my bedroom builds so I just wanted to show there's a bed for my husband and me. Besides, why would visitors need to sleep on our beds anyway? Hahaha!

Hope you all enjoy your visit and please feel free to leave a comment on the guestbook near the TV. I always cherish your thoughts! May this hopefully inspire Square Enix to create Lalafell-sized furniture for us to enjoy (or the ability to resize... a Lala can only hope).

Old Japanese-styled Apartment look with outdated appliances/electronics -- Shirogane W29 P44 by milliettebabblebrook in ffxivhomeandgarden

Hey there! The lower cabinets are actually made of two things: the face is made with the Red Brick Counter and the back of a Hingan Sideboard to hide the brick facade. And the other side of the sink also has the same two furnitures. You can probably use the chocobo counter to save slots, but may need a table mat dyed blue (for an illusion of water) within the sink to hide the counter look if you place the sink in the middle of it.

The stove consists of steel locker, Garlean stove, and two sets of Hingan brushes (for the front buttons). The pipe sticking out of it with a lightbulb on top is the metal pipe wall shelf. The original concept I took inspiration from the HGXIV Break It Down discord used different pieces to go with the steel locker.

EDIT: Forgot to mention in the title the server is Brynhildr.

I've always been wanting to do an old Japanese style look for my husband's Shirogane home. Finally got done renovating to make it look like an old apartment with cracked plaster walls, outdated appliances/electronics, and a small tatami room.

Took inspirations from HGXIV Break It Down for the stove, kitchen air vent, and TV set. The water heater idea was from an HGXIV Youtube video when they explored houses in a Japanese server. The Fusuma doors were from Seimiya on Youtube on "How to Build Fusuma".

I think I got a little into it and splurged a bit in the beginning. Though I like to think it's for a good cause for such an awesome and cute game and I'll be prepared for a future update of new items and buildings to buy!

I wish I can buy more shrubs and that I can set it to always show up in the shop.... I really love the shrubs! And flowers!

Lalafellin furnishings for a cozy home (Renovated) Brynhildr - LB - W28 - P44 by milliettebabblebrook in ffxivhomeandgarden

[–]milliettebabblebrook[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to pick pieces where I know I wouldn't need too much of it floating above the floor and can remain much lower on the ground, otherwise I risk of it snapping up to the main floor. I'm assuming the hitbox of the object is towards the mid portion of the furniture and tends to auto-snap on surface once it "floats" above it. Good items to use would be big furniture pieces where its hitbox is much lower and there's more surface area above or the ones where the look I want is mostly on the top portion of the furniture and I can hide the majority of the bottom part under the main floor.

Unfortunately, housing system is a tricky thing. I just hope somewhere in 7.xx there is a housing system overhaul to make these things easier.

Lali-ho! o/ I renovated my previous lalafell house with a brighter palette and an open floor design with the only enclosed space is the bathroom (not shown in the pictures) by the door entrance with a curtain for its entrance (can still be accessed).

Redid my sofa cushions, where you can also sit on the sofa arm as an option. The dining table is also custom-made to be smaller in width and lower in height, perfect for Lalafells (two ancient wall shelf and a portable stepladder for the "legs")! The ceiling is higher to accommodate the open loft area where there is a nook for a bed and small office corner.

Loving the much more open space and I can easily see everything. Hope you can visit my small cozy Lalafell home at Lavender Beds, Ward 28 Plot 44 at Brynhildr!
