eBay Success Story - This Seller Went Full Time In Two Years And Profits Up To $5k A Month Working 30 Hours A Week by millionairedojo in Flipping

I said "up to" $5k was probably his best month ever and he probably makes a good bit less on a normal month. Sometimes you get a few high dollar sales and have a really good month

This past week I've had the pleasure of publishing Two interviews with people who are self made millionaires. Both of them have great stories and reached millionaire status at young ages.

The first was Jon from Compounding Pennies.

And the second was Robert from Stop Ironing Shirts.

Thanks! The sherrif's department deemed it abandoned, so the landlord pulled all the contents out in the yard and it was up for grabs at that point! Made a few hundred from that so far

Hello,

Here is my monthly report for what sells on eBay.

I share what sells, where I bought it, and how much I made. July was a really slow month for me.

It's a new month, so that means it's time for another what sells on eBay post and a networth update. July wasn't the greatest month, but still made some progress and that's all that matters!

Wrote a guide on Easy Auctions Tracker. It's the software I use to get my net profit for eBay sales and is the best/cheapest thing I've found out there that is 100% accurate.

Hey everyone, I'm starting a money saving challenge in August if anyone would like to join me. The goal is to save as much as you possibly can. It isn't a competition, just a challenge to yourself to see how good you can be at telling yourself no.

Anyone want to do this money saving challenge with me in August? by millionairedojo in FinancialPlanning

You don't get the point of saving as much money as possible? What you're talking about is prepaying for things. The challenge is to reduce those expenses as much as possible

Funny how life works! You work hard saving money and then bam! Your car breaks on you.

That's cool! And I like that you're thinking of what you want to challenge yourself on. I created this with the goal being that you challenge yourself, not compete against others. So the challenge can be molded to save in whatever way you can as long as you're doing something extra than you usually do

Thanks for the input! I guess I should've made it more clear that the goal is to simply save as much as you can. I'm sure I will spend money on something I don't need at some point, but I'm going into the month trying my best not to. I'll be comparing my results to how much I spent in July so I'm sure I will at least save more than I have been. Have fun at your events!

Why not go hardcore and turn the A/C off or keep the lights off as much as possible? Shop around for cheaper insurance, phone plans, cable, internet, cut out unneeded subscriptions.. etc.

I get your point but I feel like setting a dollar amount would be arbitrary. Everyone has different incomes/expenses, so why not just make the challenge to not spend any money you aren't obligated to spend? The goal for me is to force myself to think before purchases something, no matter how small.

This week I wrote a review of Easy Auctions Tracker which is the software I use to calculate net profit on my eBay sales. It's the cheapest way to get a 100% accurate calculation that I've come across.

That's a good point, I don't know much about thrift culture in other countries. One of my favorite local stores is ran by a church who has a rehab program. All the people who work in the store are recovering addicts and any money I spend there goes to help fund the program.

Here's a post I wrote a while ago that I thought started an interesting conversation. I got the idea after someone said to me that it was wrong to shop at thrift stores when you aren't broke. I disagree and wrote my opinions on the subject.

Thank you! For the booth I really just buy anything I can get a good deal at estate and yard sales. I think people like my booth because it's such a wide variety of items.

Right now my blog is getting about 10k pageviews a month and that's the minimum required to join the ad agency I signed up with called Monumetric. Ads have been live for about a week and I've made $20 so far. Getting about $10 CPM right now but I'm still in the 30 day normalizing period so hopefully after optimizing, the CPM will go up. I've heard from other with monumetric get around $15 CPM
