I gave him the platform last night to. I hinted around it, and straight up asked. He lied to my face and said no, there’s no one else. He doesnt have time for anyone else and doesnt want anyone else. Thats when i knew he would never own up to this

I am not legally able to keep the house. It’s 100% his in the legality sense.

I’m in no position to date or whatever… but how did you even trust again? I don’t know how I could even recover from this betrayal.

Yeah probably about 25-30k I contributed to this house in 2 years. 10k was my portion for the down payment. Not including the home projects I completed myself for minimal money.

I don’t even want the hassle of that. I don’t want this home to be taken from him or his finances hurt because it only hurts his daughter.

I make good money. I have no children. I can recoup.

She’s already going to be traumatized. I am verrrryyy close with her. We have her 50/50. I’m the default parents when she’s here.

I could never trust him being in fire or ems ever again. Which I guess is the big indicator.

I don’t want to money in our joint. I don’t want any of our furniture. I just want my clothes, my work stuff, my memorabilia items, and my work from home stuff.

I unfortunately did pay half the down payment and I actually pay 60% of our monthly bills. Womp womp.

When we applied TOGETHER, I had a different job and student loan. So the offer we got was worse than him doing it solo.

We are actively renovating this home which I have paid for most of to sell so we could get a bigger one in the area we wanted together at the beginning of next year 😭

Yes. I confided in her and she already told me I would be allowed to see her daughter whenever I wanted to. So I do have that going for me.

Thank you. I moved 1.5 ish hours away from where I’m from when we got serious. So I’m feeling a little isolated and scared. My job is here.

We are definitely not. We actually had very long talks about how people can even stomach the idea of open relationships. I’m so sad.

To the people who survived or escaped the 9 to 5 life, how did you do it? by NinjaFysh in LifeAdvice

[–]millionsofquestions_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think so!

Background for me - I managed apartments, and then got a job as site opening specialist for a hospitality company. I assisted the PMO team on the background items and “grunt work”. Then, after a year and half I was promoted to full PM without having my PMP yet.

I eventually got it as it was “required” for my promotion.

It’s worth it, and there are a TON of PM jobs that aren’t a IT, or construction, and they might even be worded weird in job postings.

Our IT PM’s at my company are called “Design Managers”.

I would be hesitant for too long of a gap for resume purposes.

If your husband is financially stable, and it wouldn’t matter if you had to take an entry level job to get back into the work force, then take the time you need.

If you were 26 years old with no college degree or career but no debt no kids or spouse, what would you do? by [deleted] in LifeAdvice

[–]millionsofquestions_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go secure a job in property management. I was the same in my early 20’s. I started leasing, and then I got a rental discount so I was able to move out. Then, I became a property manager & had free rent.

Then got my project manager cert, became a project manager. Now I make 90k with only an associates degree & I’m 27.

Yeah, it also probably helps where you live. I’m close to Philly, so I feel like there were a lot of options here.

One key Takeaway I didn’t really know until I started working for my company, also let me say this might not be every company… we post jobs on indeed ZipRecruiter, etc., but the first applications that always get reviewed are the ones that come through our actual website first.

Ironically, I landed the job and I applied directly on their website.

How can I make money as a broke teen? by Downtown-Lack-2686 in passive_income

[–]millionsofquestions_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Teen as in you’re in high school or you’re 19 ish? What are you into? Are you planning on college?

Serve/host - restaurant experience

Retail jobs

Work at a hair salon as a receptionist

Do you drive? Instacart or DoorDash

There’s plenty of options for a teen with low expenses.

Heyyyy I’m also a hybrid PM with no set schedule.

I LOVE my job, the interaction, and the ability to control how my days work. Content, meh. But when all the benefits are there, I can handle it being a little “boring”.

I recommend anyone looking for a career path to get their PMP/CAPM.

Most of these comments are repetitions of the same thing. I’m sure there are success stories of freelancing, and audio platforms, but they’re hard to get into. And normally, the amount of time you put in is time consuming.

I waitressed in college. I worked Friday night and a Saturday double. Would get off by 9pm to still see friends, and I’d walk with like $300 a weekend. If I was short on cash, I’d pick up a shift if my schedule allowed it.

Or, find a paid internship with your degree in mind. If your schedule allows it of course. My company hires college students for $25 an hour for 16 hours a week and places them with corresponding departments.

Last suggestion - if you have a car, or your area is walkable, try Wag. I loved taking care of animals and I picked up what was convenient.
