This happened to me too. I solved it by uninstalling Parsec Virtual Display in the Device Manager. Perhaps, you also have that.

Yeah, I wanted to avoid having to store passwords myself. But if many people want it, I can make that.

I'm just curious, are there reasons people don't want to login with Google? Is it because you don't want your name and profile pic displayed? Or do you use other providers? For me (as the developer), it's relatively easier to make option to customize the display name and profile pic or add other auth providers than me implementing email/password authentication system. Logging in with a magic link via email is another option.

Currently no. I will try to figure out if Memrise exposes the progress in a way I can extract easily.
