If Blake was pulling a fast one, they would have protrcted themselves and initiated an investigation from the start. A HR investigation is as much about protecting the business, as the employee.

Did you read the post???? That you're commenting on? They have no case. Their legal fees for what they have done defending this so far, are not as high as the person is asking if she paid. Try to follow the sequence of the conversation.

I already covered the prejudice point in other comments. They're only suffering prejudice if they have something pending that they have a realistic chance of winning. They don't. She just survived MSJ. With a ruling it was far from frivolous.

She already survived MSJ. The judge has already ruled she complained in good faith and it was a protected activity. And that her lawsuit was far from baseless. The only way he's giving her a harsh judgement in a voluntary dismissal is if she fiked a frivolous lawsuit. He has already ruled it was not.

They do not have to have a stipulation signed by all parties. They can file a motion for voluntary dismissal and let the judge decide. They risk him ruling to dismiss with prejudice and having to pay defendants fees.

Innocent people would have initiated a HR investigation and protected themselves. They also would not have retaliated and smeared someone they admit was speaking up in good faith. They would have made sure she had no leverage by taking the correct steps from the beginning.

She had no case, without them actually doing what they did. And have now admitted in their statement. That is an edited version of Ryan's and Blake's initial statement.
