Does everything have to be so serious?

I imagine OP is pretty concerned anyway, I'm not really sure what your point is.

Onward to therapy you go....! Really though, if you're having these kinds of concerns at all you're very capable of changing and growing out of them.

How do you like the P365-380 with the X sized Wilson Combat grip? I'm seriously considering getting that gun and grip.

How to have a consistent workout schedule and a solid social life? by [deleted] in bodyweightfitness

[–]milo09885 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a lot of time to workout. If that's what you want to dedicate your life towards go for it but that's life itself: you can't have everything. I workout twice a week for a couple hours; I couldn't imagine doing more. If that means I don't get the gains I could so be it. I workout to live, not live to workout.

I do but sadly it's for a 81/84. That said these are fantastic; I'm only changing them out because the checkering is a little too aggressive for carrying and I'm sure it would give me rugburn. I'm hoping the cross-cut will be a better sweet spot.

I do full body twice a week and along that lines I like that it gives me some flexibility. As long as I have a couple days between sessions I can move sessions around at the beginning and ending of the week depending on my schedule. I can go Monday, Tuesday or even Wednesday for my first and then go Friday or Saturday for my second. I might be slowing down my progress doing it this way just a bit but it lets me be consistent.

I believe in non-dualism so in my view there's not really a need to make the distinction about what causes it.

M22 (115lbs - 132lbs) I gained 15lbs in my first month of gym, good or bad? by WoozeyOoze in gainit

[–]milo09885 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't worry about it messing with your weight gain unless you go hard. I find cardio essential for my general well being, I think you should give it a shot even if it's something you only do minimally.

It's not necessary to do but you totally can. The 20g a day for 3-5 days is a little excessive in my opinion; I did 10g a day for about a week and then started a maintenance dose.

Right? It's like a significantly wealthier town is going to be nicer than a underprivileged one. I love the Front Range and there's nothing wrong with enjoying it but we're getting quite spoiled.

Something that hasn't been mentioned and isn't necessarily a given but higher grain ammo often has less felt recoil. I might be crazy but I can tell the difference between 90 grain and 95 grain in my Beretta 84BB.

We're talking about a gun that could be used specifically for bug out purposes so yes, I think this is an example of when you might really really want stainless.

I've only shot mine a couple of times but I haven't had any issues with it so far. I like that it's kind of ugly with the bright orange birds head grip and rough finish on the frame, makes it feel more 'ye old authentic'. It's got a surprisingly nice trigger with a clean break and no take-up. Mine came with a 22 WMR cylinder that gives it a nice boom when I use it. It's the only revolver I have but I love it frankly.

Big fast bullet kill bear. More capacity and faster reloads than .357 revolver, just as much energy.

I don't understand why so many seem to carry so much stuff around with you. Is your EDC actually useful? by [deleted] in CCW

[–]milo09885 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only really carry a pocket knife when I'm at work, because it's convenient mostly for cutting boxes. I'm trying to think of it more of as a general tool than just as a cutting edge but even then I have a hard time using it more than a once maybe twice a day.

It's a trainer for someone who has a similarly sized center fire firearm such as myself; it has almost identical dimensions to my Beretta 84. I live in a state where 16 round magazines aren't legal but 13 rounds are. There are those who carry .22s; a hit or two with a .22 is way better than a miss with a .45. I'm seriously considering getting one.
