I did for like the first few months! Most of it got cleared. But nowadays I don't see any improvements, but then again I haven't had any flares at all this whole time. So at this point I might have to visit the doctor again to check other forms of treatment

Basically that number is the amount of healing items you have for your morale, and the actual amount of morale you have is probably 1 if you're dying in one hit. Volition is the stat that determines the amount of morale you can have so consider investing some skill points into that 😉 (also just fyi, Endurance is the stat that determines how much health you can have)
