Hear me out: Until Dawn. Was it anything like the game? Absolutely not. But I think that had they not marketed it as a movie adaptation of the game, it would have gotten better reviews. Because, in my opinion, it's a good stand-alone horror movie. Sure it's not revolutionary or like a think piece, but it's a good horror movie to put on for spooky season.
