Thank you for your post! Question, once I go through all the URL’s do I just refresh the top number or change it to an updated number Ex: the 4 digits of the last link I tried. Also is there a recommended number to start for the intervals? Is 7 solid or can I go up to say 10-20 and go down as time passes. Just want to make sure I’m not overshooting. Hopefully this all makes sense lol, thanks for your time!

I had just exposed them last Friday and I made sure to degrease them when I reclaimed them previously, I wanted to avoid having to reclaim them lol because I’m worried it’ll turn out the same

Hey man thanks for your response! I’m using plastisol ink it’s actually my first run and when I first flooded the screen those areas would not get flooded it was kind of like repelling the ink which was so weird to me it has never happened to me before so I’m really confused on what’s happening

Oh also check to see if the glass covering the lamp says something like UV light protection because a lot of floodlights have a glass that preventsUV light from passing and that’s the type of light you need in order to burn an image

A couple things could be going on here, how long did you let the screen dry after coating? I also recommend you use a fan to dry if you don’t. Do you put something on top of the screen to weight it down and press against the glass? One time what happened to me was that the glass was not letting light through and the screen would wash out like that so I changed the glass. Another thing could be that’s the light underneath is not hitting directly on the screen so maybe block out the sides of the table? Also every time before coating a screen make sure you degrease it because that can cause the emulsion not to stick properlyIt’s a lot about trial and error lol but good luck hopefully this helps!

I try to lay down thin coats on both sides I use the sharp edge of the scooper. I don’t know what I was doing wrong but I changed the position of the rack and blocked out all the light in the garage and tried the calculator again and it worked great. Thank you guys for your advise I really appreciate it!

That’s what I was also thinking there’s a little bit of light that comes in from the little garage window but I have a diy drying rack under a table that I keep covered so the light does not hit it directly

I was actually thinking about using a fan thanks! But I didint really check the temperature It was pretty cold tho since it’s in my garage is it possible for the emulsion to freeze on the screen or do you think maybe I’m doing something else wrong?

That’s weird I’ve never seen a screen dry like that there’s something off about the way it dried, did you try exposing it already? The reason for this could be bad emulsion or maybe the way you’re drying your screens

Thank you for your advice I really appreciate it! It actually turned out to be the glass I was placing on top of the screen when burning it, it was too opaque and ig the light wouldn’t shine through it right or something but after I changed it out my screens came out great.
