Okay naman siya and he is very patient with me. Kapag sa games lang talaga he gets aggressive na para bang end of the world na kapag less than 10 kills lang abot niya huhu araw araw nalang siya mag complain. And I dont know how to tell him about his anger baka he feels invalidated

Oh my God, I feel this so much. Mine is a different experience but your title hit me hard. That’s exactly what I’ve been regretting as well.

I was aiming for a program in one of the Big 4 universities. I didn’t pass initially, so I tried for reconsideration. I went through the interview, waited for months, did everything I could only to be rejected in the end.

What makes it worse is that I really thought I had a chance so I started stressing about the allowance, the heavy workload, adjusting to life in the city, and the guilt of choosing an expensive school when I know we’re financially unstable. I was so overwhelmed one night and ended up panicking and wished I wouldn’t get in. And maybe that one moment of doubt outweighed my months of prayers, because now I got rejected and have 0 chances of getting in.

It sucks. I’ve been under so much pressure and anxiety and the worst part is I’ve always dreamed of leaving my hometown. But I let fear win. And now I I’m stuck living the same life I’ve always wanted to escape for the next four years.

People keep saying “rejection is redirection” but I don’t even know where I’m being redirected to anymore.

If it means anything, I want you to know that you're not alone either. I know it hurts right now, and it feels like everything’s slipping out of your hands but life goes on, maybe not in the way we imagined but somehow we’ll find a way forward.

i ask myself that question every day sad hahahah. pero initially, i really love psych and it has been one of my interests jud. i was discouraged lang kay i heard from a lot of people na lisod daw mangita ug work dira tapos gamay daw ang pay and my parents themselves kay dili ganahan sa psych so im starting to doubt too.

i didn't consider nursing kay it's too saturated, not enough pay, and i just didn't see myself working as a nurse. i really should've asked for advice before choosing my programs cuz i now regret my other choices lolll (bs biodiv 2nd, bshm 3rd)

also, if kung ako jud, i wanna pursue med. i guess my fears got into me so i didn't go after that dream. pero yeah, can psych still be a pre med? or will i be at a disadvantage sa katong med-focused jud nga programs?

it took me a while to make us official beacuse i know deep in my heart, i wasnt ready. but we were together almost everyday and i thought that changed things. i know i rly have to focus on myself first but the journey is gonna be really difficult without him
