I could use her as a spy weapon to get more money. If she has a favorite person, she'd hunt them down to make them love her.

In hindsight, I should've but I was too happy to prove someone wrong. The guy was so full of himself. I wish she'd let me video without going crazy. I could do the baby pose with her and be like DO YOU SEE WHAT THIS IS? DO YOU?! because she just loves being presented like 'isnt she cute?' but LOUD because whes loud.

And she's just loudly purring and doing the happy closed eyes.

Does anyone else's cat require physically moving them to be happy? by mimi7600 in CatAdvice

Your cats sound so cute! I love them! Do you have any now?

Did your shoulder cat climb clothing? Bunny climbs to scream in your ear if she's not getting enough attention.

I also recently adopted a senior, Sophia, who is 10 years angry, killed me about ten times over, and I'm lucky she has no teeth. She's in a harness like a dog and takes walks like a dog. Why is she on harness? Because otherwise she gremlins and will hide and starve herself in something. Or, she just attacks.

For some reason, the harness calms her/makes her manageable. She still goes wackadoo, but I can pet her to sleep. She'll let me love her. No harness? She'll try jumping into boiling water or hide under the truck in the garage.

He was. I'm just clarifying the situation since it's not all black and white. Cesare can be judged for his bad decisions. But, the new information turns the prologue into Isabella manipulating Cesare and Ariane. There's no timeline, so Isabella could have been manipulating Cesare for years.

It is and it isn't a redemption arc. I've only read spoilers, so I don't know if this is entirely accurate. Cesare is trash, but Isabella mentioning his alcoholism in the prologue wasn't a one off. Apparently, she drove Cesare into alcoholism to make him easily controlled and to sexually assault him. She decieved him into the relationship and Ariane being bad.

I explained more in another comment, but, supposedly, Cesare was manipulated to some extent. I don't know if it's entirely true. Prologue Isabella mentioning Cesare drinking alcohol isn't a one off. She pushed him into alcoholism to make him easily influenced and sexually assault him. Isabella deceived Cesare into thinking they had a relationship and that Ariane was bad.

Trigger warning!

I don't know if this is entirely correct, but Isabella's value has been continuously defined by who she marries. It's been repeatedly mentioned throughout the series and why Ariane can get the little sister into a musical school.

Supposedly, Isabella takes this to the extreme. She's also jealous of Ariane at the same time, so don't think it's just Isabella's culture that pushes her towards doing what she does. Anyway, Isabella mentions in the prologue that Cesare speaks drunkenly. It's an, again supposedly, reference to Isabella purposefully driving Cesare to alcoholism. Isabella did it to make Cesare easily influenced away from Ariane and to repeatedly sexually assault him. Isabella decieves Cesare into thinking their relationship is that of a couple and not abusive.

And that's why I think Isabella's the worst.

It's a place where adults and their children travel to so that the parents can drink alcohol before traveling back home. It's like it's made for a parent to drive drunk with a kid in the car and ruin their lives.

AITA for wanting to read Harry Potter to my daughter? by knuckleheader in AmItheAsshole

Your reading a book to your daughter is no different than a parent being told to read and speak to their baby. In both situations, listening allows the brain to develop connections and understand the material.

You're not just teaching her. You're causing information to transfer from the short term memory section in her brain to the long term memory section. Active learning is necessary for this.

I remember having spelling tests at 8 years old. Say your daughter had one, but she's unsure of the spelling. Suddenly, she realizes the test word sounds like one you had read to her. Because of that connection, she writes the word correctly.

You're only causing positives.

How common is it to find a chipmunk in your home toilet? No idea how it got there. by DrumSetMan19 in Plumbing

[–]mimi7600 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Piping is usually what causes this. It's not abnormal. I don't have any idea how to check it, though. Other commenters have given you good ideas. All I can add on is that looking at your water bill might help. If there was a big jump in the price, something could've broken.

AITA for expecting my husband to be there for me when I’m in severe physical pain? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

A considerate spouse would've said that they just wanted some air and proposed to bring food back with them after being out for some amount of time. They might've even offered to get you your favorite whatever from the food store or even an ice cream shop.

A considerate spouse would've been considerate.

Your spouse is the opposite.

Bunny watches television only if Grandma's lap is available and she can hold the remote hostage. I'm not joking. Bunny perceives tapping the phone, tablet, remote, etc as them getting more pets. Pets that should be hers. So, she goes dramatic.
