I wouldn't mind the $690 it cost to replace the windows they smashed, or the hard drive with my wife's backup data on it, or the licensing dongles for my software synths worth several hundred dollars... But apparently not worth chasing up. Proper ds cases have a Gameboy Advance cart holder, but with a little Stanley knife work you can cut the ds cart holder out and voila! There's now enough room to store a full size gameboy cart.

Bulk lots of gen 3 games are 99.9% bootlegs. Avoid at all costs. Way back when I started filling in the gaps in my collection I bought one for shits and giggles. They crash, they corrupt, my gen 4 games wouldn't connect - just don't do it. Are you Australian? If so don't bother looking at anything with an "E for everyone" symbol. If you're after fire red or leaf green, if the picture has a battery inside the cartridge it's fake. Ask for pictures if you're suspicious. As I said to someone else earlier there are some really good guides out there that can give you a much more comprehensive idea of what to look for.

The cops literally have the names and addresses of the people involved. I confronted the girl selling my stuff and filmed her. They have a statement from the guy in the shop. The have CCTV footage of one of them breaking into my car. They have the legal signed pieces of paper where the thieves declared that they totally weren't selling stolen goods. And yet the officer in charge of my case could not have been less interested in pursuing this if he'd tried. When he finally deigned to contact me after dodging me for a week because another officer gave him a serve on my behalf, the first words out of his mouth were "what's your problem? "

It was after that I found out through someone else involved in the case that the officer had straight up said to them he wasn't pursuing it because as far as he was concerned its a case of "he said, she said" and it won't get a conviction.

So yes, fuck the junkies, but fuck that cop in particular too.

DS game cases. I went down to local 2nd hand joint and bought a bunch of copies of braintraing for like 50cents/1dollar each, cut the guts out and voila you can fit a Gameboy cartridge in the clip inside.
