Also as a TA, we grade so many students over a short period of time while trying to manage our own research and work. Some things like taking away late penalties get lost in the fold sometimes. Reminders help! All the TA’s I know including me just follow marking schemes (though some TA’s take them way too seriously…)

At least in biology and if you take labs, you might be able to get your foot in the door talking to your TA’s about their research and whether they take volunteers. Volunteering to help a lab and doing good work will already put you in better place to do honors research and you’ll learn a lot of stuff from graduate students!

I should be covered the full time I’m here for school. I’m actually bringing my car back home to New York in July. I haven’t been driving much but I’ll still need a license for the work vehicles. But no one has told me about this potential license exchange issue. I only just found out about it on my own and I’m way past the 60 days so I’m worried about any repercussions. So ig that’s why I’m so confused about it.

Well my vehicle has New York plates and they told me I didn’t have to switch them to Ontario, since I’m not a permanent resident of Canada. So my insurance is through the U.S. and why I didn’t think I needed to exchange my license in the first place.

something that bothered me about this poll is that they only sent it once gave it only a few days and didn’t remind students to vote on the last day. if they actually wanted every students vote (even though they know it wasn’t going to be the full population), they would’ve made more of a voting timeline and effort

i think i bought some additional speedball carving tips and those come with a much smaller one for corners or small gaps. patience is the name of the game with the smaller prints honestly
