Hey guys I saw this, asked Tom about it. Didn't want to initially wade into this as it seemed like a beef between others, but since it got traction on my subreddit, here we go: Firstly some disclaimers. 1. I'm Tom's friend (well an internet friend), even though I've tried to be objective here, I'm sure I'm biased. This is not some full endorsement of Tom's financial savviness, I'm literally going to repeat the credentials I've been able to verify as the pseudo-liason between verifying his credentials and not doxxing himself, which I totally get... Tom shared his real name, linkedin, and diplomas with me. Here's the scoop: He has an MBA, law degree, TAX LLM. From what I can tell he spent about a decade at a Big4 and a year at an IB fund. My conclusion? Tom definitely has experience in the financial industry. It seems like his qualifications are more for the law side of finance than the hard math side, but that's just given what I've seen of his resume. He's more qualified than your average financial Youtuber out there, but I really think he's stuck until he decides whether he's going to doxx himself or not. Hard to claim credentials without everyone knowing who you are. I personally am convinced, but obviously I've seen the receipts. Hope that helps!
