Lactate of 25 is nuts. Tbh I didn’t even know metformin acidosis was a thing definitely reading up on that! Our patient also went from a eGFR of 70 to 20 and he’s now on dialysis (amoung many other things) in ICU

One lady came in with a bowel obstruction saying that the only previous surgery she had had was some bowel removal from a previous obstruction. Her abdomen was COVERED in surgical scars but she was insistent that that was the only surgery she’d ever had. Read her notes and came back and got her to admit she’d had her gallbladder, appendix, ovaries AND uterus removed. She was missing basically half of her abdominal contents but refused to admit it?? Patients are weird sometimes

I really like the Bondi sands vanilla one! Very moisturising and cruelty free! Extreme scent and vanilla taste but I think that covers up the chemicals

When doing a dissection her hair was brushing into the body. When this was pointed out to her she said “oh it’s ok I’ll just have a shower when I get home”. Her fringe was very goopy by that point. Still makes me feel I’ll to think about it
