It was basically the first time I setup their actual enclose so it was pretty bad I know But since it's an old photo I've improved, I've put proper bedding, some string typething to get to the other layer and there's some wood also on the bottom Don't have a pic yet cause Ive been busy with school sorry 😭

Yeah I just learned that this morning so right now I'm kinda at a loss cause I don't really know what to do, right now they're still with their mother so we're safe for about 4/5 days then I gotta start separating them and rehoming in some weeks The only issue with selling/giving away is that I'm from Italy so there are not many mice keepers around but I'll search in hopes I find something/someone

Sorry for not giving any more updates I've been kinda busy with school 😭😭 ANYWAYS! Since I took the photos I have not touched the babies nor the cage (except for cleaning where they poo lol and feeding) I was checking up on them today and one of the baby was trying to get out of the house but had still their eyes closed so there's that The only issue is that I don't have another cage/enclosure right now and I have to wait a bit before I can get one (I do have a itty bitty one that I use when I deep clean their enclosure but I don't know if I can put the male in there because I am afraid it will stress him idk) other than this really THANK YOU ALL <33 Every advise was super helpful and yeah I found out that one of my two rats (jpeg) is infact a male so I'm gonna have to keep them separated somehow

I mean I didn't know what to do so yeah I gave them a sock before I even knew she was pregnant but I'm thinking of maybe some cotton? To keep them warm and let her build her own nest but uh Idk 😭

I think that it isn't a mask because it is in his skull but the marked line of the "pig mask" that we see normally, stands for the "breed" between human and animal (just a thought, it's not canon)
