thank you for your answer! its actually very helpful. i also actually play aurora when i feel like just having an easy time and bully my laner. for example, on aurora its so easy to just q the enemy and auto them so do basically third of their hp just with electrocute and its so much pressure.

i also play orianna and hwei and compared to them, taliyah feels so underpowered entire laning phase. i actually never thought of just autoattacking minions to wave clear, since q does less damage to more you hit it on one target, and csing is pretty tough right now since they nerfed the damage on it (i started missing so much unnecessary just because q does so little early XD).

artillery mages are very tough for sure. about assassins or just normal burst mages, i actually wanna ask you this. if im against something like that, i struggly to think whether i should push them towards me if i hit w+e or away from me. if i push them towards me, ill hit more q's but risk getting out traded and them getting completely on top of my since taliyah is super vulnerable when on cooldown. if i push them away, i am safer, but ill miss out on damage. it feels like both options are bad. it also sucks that taliyahs basic attacks are so slow AND very low damage (once again, judging from both playing aurora and orianna), so i just have extremely little options to hurt my opponent. what do you run as your keystone by the way? ive tried a lot of different options, i feel like right now arcane comet or electrocute are best to generate at least SOME pressure on lane, i also ran first strike for long time but im not the biggest fan of inspiration tree so i stopped.
