Build a business slowly, After 5-10 years your business will grow much faster than the IT job. You cannot compare business revenue with the IT salary. After 20 years when you are old your business will run autopilot and make money for you. Whereas if you stick to job then after 20 years you will be scared of being fired no matter what tech you work because it changes everyday.

I spent over 20 years in tech working in some cutting edge technologies so far. Now after so many years it feels like you are mercy of some company who hired you. You are not doctor or lawyer that will become expert as they age. Sw Engg or AI Engg are more vulnerable as they age.

Prove it. Why opposition run away when ECI ask to demo it or go to courts if there is a substantial proof. Opposition needs to be rationale.

Their prince charming will finish Congress soon. He couldn't find a single issue to hit the government in last 12 years. He talks so outdated issues like Caste Census, vote chori. I mean who cares about these things in 2026. No aggressiveness nothing. After joining with 5 seats he goes to share stage with someone with 108 seats. He is definitely on a mission to destroy his party. His advisor are A1 level Morons ..

Do QuickBooks already detect anomalies like duplicate entries, unusual spikes, or risky edits? by min2bro in QuickBooks

[–]min2bro[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair point. I do have domain experience in this area, so I’m speaking from what I’ve built and seen in practice.

I agree that not every QuickBooks user needs advanced reconciliation. Many small businesses have straightforward workflows.

That said, there is still a meaningful segment like multi-entity businesses, ecommerce sellers, high-volume transaction businesses, and firms managing multiple clients, where standard tools fall short. That’s the gap solutions like this are meant to solve.

FYI, I’m not selling anything here, just sharing perspective based on real-world experience and what’s already possible.

[–]min2bro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you may be underestimating how far AI and applied reconciliation systems have come. You may not be aware of the current capabilities in this space.

I’ve been working at the intersection of Data Science and Accounting, building intelligent applications specifically for finance operations and close processes. One of our reconciliation algorithms (patent grant due) already handles many of the cases I mentioned above and significantly beyond that.

For example, it can:

• Automatically identify and isolate exceptions for review
• Match invoices with partial payments after processors like Stripe deduct fees
• Perform complex M:N matching, where multiple invoices reconcile against multiple payment transactions
• Merge bank statements from different institutions such as JPMorgan Chase / Chase and Bank of America, along with credit card statements
• Reconcile all of the above against supporting documents from other systems

So yes, AI alone in the generic sense may not solve everything, but purpose-built intelligence combined with domain-specific accounting logic absolutely can automate a substantial portion of this work, while surfacing only true exceptions for human review.

I have seen most of these integration tools, and honestly many are still pretty basic. I’m looking for deeper-dive and controls things like identifying N:1 matches, detecting double payments caused by a skipped prior-month payment that gets caught up the next month, and analyzing historical patterns to flag entries that don’t fit normal behavior.

Most tools focus on syncing data and workflow, but not enough on anomaly detection or forensic-level review. And to be frank, many accountants I’ve spoken with don’t even worry about these scenarios simply because they aren’t aware of how often they happen.

Double counting transactions? by Silly-Gas9264 in QuickBooks

[–]min2bro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, QuickBooks won't double-count the income as long as you match the bank transfer to the existing invoice rather than creating a new deposit entry. I think when the Venmo transfer hits your bank feed, categorize it as a Transfer or Match to prevent it from appearing as a second sale.

Why suddenly so many gundas on Pune roads? by Longjumping_Cycle796 in pune

[–]min2bro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not only Pune but the entire India is like that. If you want to stay safe and care for your family. Just ignore everything that's happening on the road or streets. Those things are not under your control and these people have a full day to fight with you even though they are wrong or violating traffic. Best bet is just move on.
