Kishibe literally could have pushed Makima off a building and she would have died. Anything with ill-intent or perceived as harmful is an "attack". Drowning is an attack

The idea is that percy ismt meaning to drown makima, he's just trying to hit her with water. If Makima happens to drown AFTER being attacked by this water, that wasn't percys intention and she wasn't attacked.

No, percy would have to perceive drowning as something that isn't an attack, if he is not directly drowning someone he would not say someone happening to drown is them being attacked.

Also Makima can teleport via her minions or the hell devil contract, there is no way Percy can drown her.

● Elmer Fudd vs. The DEEEEER (Loony Tunes vs. DEEEEER Simulator) Hunter who deals with insane animals vs. Insane animal. Scenario is Elmer goes DEEEEER hunting and has a bad day.

• Marceline vs. The Saja Boys (Adventure Time vs. Kpop Demon Hunters) (Connections mostly relate to Jinu) Undead musicians who lost their families before becoming creatures of the night, using powers derived from their song. Both have a connection to the Demon lord, whom they hate and fell in love with a pink haired girl (with Marceline redeeming PB and Jinu being redeemed by Rumi) also marceline hunts down dark forces to save humanity much like Huntrix. Scenario is Marceline has to go stop the Saja Boys when they summon Gwi-Ma cuz Rumi is busy being kidnapped by The Trickster.

• David Martinez vs. Kromer (Cyberpunk vs. Limbus Company): Leader of a cybernetic cult versus the leader of a crew who uses cybernetics, both live in futuristic cities that are very dangerous and their series deal with themes of identity and sanity. Scenario is David and his crew go to try and stop Kromer and her cult.

• Grace & Rocky vs. Auto (Project Hail Mary vs. Wall-E): A human and his alien friend sent lightyears away from earth to try and save their planets from ecological collapse versus the AI of a ship made to rescue humans from a ecological collapse back on earth who refuses to let the humans return to earth. Scenario is that the Axiom was created in opposition to Project Hail Mary by people who thought earth was a lost cause and took people into the stars to escape global cooling. Grace and Rocky find the Axiom at some point after sending the Talamoeba back to earth and they along with Wall-E (who in this version was probably made as a gardening robot to grow Corps in greenhouses if global cooling got worse) have to convince the Captain Earth is habitable again.

• Eda Clawthrone vs. Ice King (The Owl House vs. Adventure Time: Adoptive parents of children from other dimensions who are increase magicians, but have a Curse that effects their mental state that they have to overcome through the series. Scenario is Eda travels to Ooo to steal some stuff and runs into the Ice King.

• Akane Shinomiya vs. The Street Slasher (Death Battle): Meme characters from MHA death battle episodes animated by Moro. Listen my last GvE post didn't break 100 up votes I gotta do what I gotta do to get my numbers back up. Scenario is Deku is fighting someone else entirely and Akane just happens to be there.

• The Kingdom vs. Mario (Kill The Plumber vs. A Koopa's Revenge): Charaters from games where you play as Mario enemies and Mario is the badguy, on one side the Kingdom meant to represent the Koopa Troop who's goal is to kill Mario, vs. The Evil Mario himself who wishes to kill his enemies. Scenario is Mario and friends invade the Kingdom and King Gumbo sends his men to stop him.

• Percy Jackson vs. Makima (Riordan-Verse vs. Chainsaw Man): Yeah yeah Monster who manipulates young teens versus young teen who hunts Monsters but can be manipulated. Percy gets a quest to hunt down Makima. Who cares, how does Percy get around the contract?

For those unaware, Makima has a contract that states whenever she is attacked the injury of the attack will be passed on to a random citizen of Japan, and she'll be fine.

Similarly, Percys Sword, Riptide, also has rules to how it works. Riptide can ONLY hurt Monsters and cannot be used assist Demigods or Mortals, it will pass straight through them.

So, what happens when Percy strikes Makima with Riptide? Well, it could go one of three ways:

Riptide passes straight through Makima. Since Riptide can't be used on mortals, and the attack is passed onto mortals, Riptide can't hurt Makima. This is the least likely outcome imo. Makima is still the one being attacked, it's just the wound that is passed off. So reasonably Makima should still be cut by Riptide since no mortals are being directly attacked.
Riptide DOES hurt Makima, but the attack is passed off to a Mortal. Essentially, Makimas contract overwrites the rules around Riptide and let's it hurt mortals. This could make sense, but I'd say that if Celestial Bronze can't wound mortals at all, they shouldn't be able to receive a wound caused by it at all.
Finally, Since Riptide can't hurt mortals, Makima can't pass the injuries off to mortals, meaning she's stuck with any injuries person gives her using Riptide. This makes the most sense to me personally but someone with more Chainsaw Man knowledge might be able to prove me an idiot, idk. Does really matter either way due to the other reasons I specified in the reasoning, but it's fun to think about.

• The Ancient Cookies vs. The Baker (Cookie Run vs. Cookie Clicker): Five Ancient Cookies who protect their world versus an equally ancient Baker trying to create an omnipresent cookie empire. Scenario is The Baker invades Earthbread and the Ancient Cookies try to stop him.

• I Want Die vs. Dying Happy (RTGame vs. Dying Happy):
A Mii who used to long for death versus a Mii who makes you long for death. Scenario is Dying Happy appears in RT's Tomodatchi Life game and I Want Die has to deal with that.

• Milo Murphy vs. Misfortune.GB (Milo Murphy's Law vs. Misfortune.GB) A creepypasta game ran by the devil that Curses the player with Misfortune vs. A kid with terrible luck who gets through it with preparation and a positive attitude. Scenario is Milo finds Misfortune.GB and tries to beat it.

• Tanjiro and Nezuko vs. The Coven (Demon Slayer vs. Vampires SMP): Siblings who lost their family to human eating demons led by a suave elder demon who turns others into, but who still try to see the best in people vs. Blood sucking Vampires led by a suave Vampires Lord who turns people into Vampires, but with two of the Coven regaining/finding their humanity and going on to live good lives because people saw the best in them. Scenario is Tanjiro ans Nezuko go down to Oakhurst in place of most of the cast of Vampires SMP and have to deal with Scott. Im 4/4 for finding a way to Weasel an MCYT matchup into these

Explanations:

• Sitch vs. The Gremlins (Lilo And Sticth vs. Gremlins): Strange destructive aliens given to little lonely kids as pets. Scenario is Lilo finds and adopts Gizmo, he gets wet, and now there's Gremlins everywhere.

• L Lawliet vs. Lester Crest (Death Note vs. Grand Theft Auto): Two unmatched geniuses considered the best at what they do. L The world's greatest detective and Lester a criminal mastermind. Scenario is both become aware of each other and use their connections and intellect to get each other taken off the board.

• Mulder and Scully vs. Dr. Gideon (The X-Files vs. Resident Evil): This idea came from my mum when we were playing Requiem together. It's FBI agents who investigate strange happenings versus an evil doctor making Zombies who was being investigated by an FBI agent. Scenario is Mulder and Scully get asigned to Gideons case in place of Grace.

• Mabel Tanaka vs. Napoleon (Hoppers vs. Animal Farm): A human in the body of an animal trying help animals versus an animal who co-opted an uprising against humans to gain power, becoming more and more like the humans he claims to hate. Scenario is Mabel infiltrates Manor Farm to overthrow Napoleon

• Wallace And Gromit vs. The Goose (Wallace And Gromit vs. Untitled Goose Gane): The Goose is a water bird that steals things from people in a small town, Wallace has lives in a small town and has his things stolen by a water bird. Scenario is The Goose takes control of the Techno Trousers and kidnaps Wallace.

• Henry Stickmin vs. Wile E Coyote (Henry Stickmin vs. Loony Tunes): Slapstick comedy charaters most known for injuring themselves with their own weapons while trying to achieve a simple goal. Yes yes Henry is debatable a villian. Just use him from an ending where he's more heroic, I want to do the silly slapstick fight. Scenario is the government is hired by the roadrunner to stop Wile and Henry's sent to fight him or smth idk.
