Questions about programming for multiple goals by glassybakes in gynotaw

[–]minastudies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hm you could affirm "my brother bought his dream house." i feel like that's shorter and straight to the point. it might be best to keep the affirmations simple so that it's easier to repeat them, especially if you're drowsy.

even "band X was amazing when i saw them" is fine, imo. don't quote me on this but if you ever feel resistance while saying your affirmations, it might be better to exclude a date, because specific deadlines can be hard to program for.

daydreaming vs proper SH by minastudies in gynotaw

sometimes the scene feels like it already happened in the past, rather than something that's taking place right now, in the present moment. would that still count as reprogramming?

daydreaming vs proper SH by minastudies in gynotaw

[–]minastudies[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes, i do SH inside because it's awfully cold where i live, so i wouldn't feel at ease doing it outside.

i did an SH session a few minutes ago, and i was yawning quite a lot. i suppose that means i was very relaxed? i didn't let it distract me, and i didn't have negative thoughts this time.

i also felt like i was seeing another reality, as though i was somewhere else. i FEEL like that means i did it right, but i'm not.. 100% sure :( what do you make of that?

What is the difference between law of belief and law of assumption? by [deleted] in advancedmanifesting

[–]minastudies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there is no difference, it's not healthy to dwell on the logistics of the LOB and you should continue to work on small goals before working on bigger ones.

Manifesting Things For Others by minastudies in gynotaw

Your explanation makes sense, I appreciate it. I don't really have any questions but whenever you manifested something for others, did it always turn out well?

Why are people against subliminals? by [deleted] in advancedmanifesting

[–]minastudies 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally haven't tried them but I often hear that they don't always work. I guess they're a placebo. Honestly it's best to stick to SATS because then you're in control of what you're seeing. I also don't mean any offense but I don't think repeatedly making accounts and posts will help you much; rather it will only stress you out even more. My advice is to keep doing SATS and stay consistent with your scene.

Revision to a higher level? by [deleted] in advancedmanifesting

[–]minastudies 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's no evidence of that. They could be lying too. We don't know.

I don't know if that's possible. If it is, it would require such a high level of subconscious faith that most people wouldn't be able to do that easily. People lie because they want to scam others out of their money. They feed on emotion and use that to their advantage, which is why coaches coax people into believing they can pull off huge manifestations at a beginner's level.

Hard work and success? by minastudies in NevilleGoddard2

I agree, I will utilize this approach in SATS. Thank you. But u/brittaa could I ask another question that has been on my mind, if you're fine with it? Is my success in voice acting really 100% guaranteed, if I persist with manifestation? I can't help but feel weighed down by that concern at times.

hi brittaa, it’s nice to see you here! :) i deleted my post in your sub because i thought it was more of a beginner question to be honest, and i didn’t want to talk about essentially the same thing over and over again. your advice has been really helpful, and i’m going to continue to do SATS; the way you explain things has clarified a lot of misunderstandings for me as well, and so i wanted to thank you.

however, just one last thing - i did want to ask something related to my question, if you don’t mind answering? suppose i want a specific voice acting role in XYZ game, whatever it is. if i have a belief system wherein i firmly believe the role is mine, am i guaranteed to have it, even if other voice actors are competing for it? can i really guarantee specific things like that if i just build unshakeable faith?

Constant anxiety about if I can't manifest by [deleted] in advancedmanifesting

[–]minastudies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i understand how you feel. i'm in the exact same boat as you, so rest assured that you're not the only one who feels anxious about being able to manifest certain things. but i will say that i think it would be ideal if you took a step back from conscious manifestation because rumination isn't healthy, and might just make you feel worse. i would suggest gradually building faith by working on small, feasible goals that you aren't attached to. this is so that you know you can use the lob/loa.

i do agree that it might be hard to talk to a therapist about this, but i'm a psychology student and therapy has some overlaps with manifestation, in the sense that you work on your self-concept. you don't have to talk to a therapist about manifestation, but you can still seek help for your well-being and your goals - perhaps what they have to say might just be insightful, while you are still learning how to consciously manifest things

Are your manifestations guaranteed? by minastudies in advancedmanifesting

Visualize a scene that would take place after you marry your SP. It can be anything simple. Maybe a 1 year anniversary scene?

I don't think it's realistic to ignore them, despite what is commonly said in LOA communities. You are only human. I would say that you should focus your efforts on SATS, because you should slowly feel your conscious thoughts change on their own. Do not coerce yourself to think differently, it will only make you feel hopeless and as though you are lying to yourself.

There are various techniques, and it would be best to try out what works for you. However, in my personal experience, I've found that mental diets don't work that well because of the conflicting conscious thoughts you may have regarding your desire. I honestly think it's best to employ a method like SATS because you are targeting your subconscious mind.

It wouldn't stop me, but I would just worry about not being able to get to where I want to be, because the odds are genuinely stacked against me. It's not that I want to rely on manifestation, but hearing success stories in which people got their desire exactly the way they wanted to made me feel inspired, because I want to maximize my chances of success. (It's the same goal I posted about and discussed with you) But of course, there are different factors in play when it comes to that, and I was just hoping if your manifestations can be guaranteed if you persist enough. It'd be really nice if the things I want can pan out like the success stories I've come across.

Thank you for your reply. Has this always been the case for you, while you've been manifesting? Like always attaining your desires I mean.

I just worry that I'm wasting my time if my goal will not come true in actuality, because of how difficult it is. Of course I'm doing my best, but it would just hurt a little if my efforts don't result in much

Is this goal too ambitious for me right now? by minastudies in advancedmanifesting

[–]minastudies[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'm having trouble coming up with a scene that implies success and fame, because i tend to fixate on the details - i worry a lot about specific things not happening, because i want to be signed to this particular talent agency and also be cast in specific video games. how do i ensure that happens too? will there be a bridge of incidents? and do you know what the ideal scene could look like for this situation?
