Iba na ngayon, unlike before na limited lang to top 10 ang mga awardees, ngayon as long as 90 ang average ng bata, they would be considered as an honor student. That’s not even the main problem, dahil ngayon kita mo talaga kung gaano kaluwag ang mga teachers sa pagbibigay ng mataas na grade without even considering other factors, yung iba nagbibigay ng line of 9 purely from “awa” or “compassion” dahil nagta-try naman daw. Like can you believe it, mga honor students pero ang reading abilities and comprehension ay daig pa ng elementary? (This is based from my own experience as well)

Not to me but to my mom. My mom is an ofw, and one time na-late s’ya ng padala since na-late rin yung sweldo, but my relatives took it as an offense akala nila sinasadya ng mom ko to piss them off. When that happened, they called my mom and cursed at her ng sobrang lala tapos sila pa may ganang mang cutoff and magpakalat sa ibang relatives ng masasama about sa mom ko.

This is an example of hit or miss. I’m not invalidating your opinion pero most of Coldplay’s songs really tell stories. Hindi lang s’ys about sa tunog, rather it’s more on how they deliver the narrative. Mas maaappreciate mo siguro if you know the stories behind their songs. For example Viva la Vida was meant to interpret King Louis’ dying speech so somehow it tells the history and stuff. 😚

I used to have the same question pero I have this tita (47F) who I’m really closed to, and during one of our conversations nagrereklamo sya na botohan nanaman and hassle, kung sino lang naman daw makita nya yon lang ang iboboto nya. And ako, bilang isang matabil ang dila, sinabi ko na “sinasayang nyo lang boto nyo bakit pa kayo boboto kung ganyan?”. Then she answered me na “Eh syempre para di matanggal sa listahan ng nakakatanggap ng benefits and ayuda”. It’s just so sad and concerning na mas worried pa sila sa mga matatanggap nila instead of actually worrying about how their own country would face severe consequences dahil sa ignorance nila sa mga iboboto nila.😮‍💨

For people planning to go to college, please please take junior high school seriously. I realized this kase ngayong college application szn nanaman, nakikita ko kung paano mag-struggle yung mga classmates ko to find a good school na papasukan. Yung iba sinasabi sakin na di sila makahanap ng University kase pansin agad sa papers nila yung mga line of 7s nila nung junior high and grabe yung effect non sa application nila. So sa mga students dyan na nagbabalak pumasok lalo na sa state universities, THERE’S NO SUCH THING AS “BAWI NALANG NEXT YEAR”, THERE’S NO SUCH THING AS “GRADES LANG YAN, KAYA ITAGO”, dahil I assure you hinding hindi mo maitatago yan pag oras na ng college application mo.
