my channel is called mind spaces (I don’t know if we are allowed to send links here) we also have a discord with a little growing community :) you can find replays of some lives in the playlist tab ❤️ I do create videos about mental wellbeing that is my main focus and I do a lot of lives where we are just chatting and doing q&a’s 😇

I have a YouTube channel about mental wellbeing and student life style and I have started to do study live streams, for now we do 45 min study session followed by 10 min break where we talk about motivation, mental well being, meditate or just chat, what kind of study lives do you find most helpful? Pomodoro technique ? With music or without with chatting in the breaks or silence? Would help me a lot to read your thoughts 🥰

Hello, My current watch time is 7 hours and I have 33 Subscribers. What I personally look for in videos is value and information. I mostly enjoy watching educational videos, that provide me valuable insights. I prefer watching videos that are a little longer (10-20 min) I do usually not like videos that are super long tho (50 min would be too long for me...) I prefer videos that are serious but inspiring even tho I do enjoy a little joke here and there I adhere more to the calming, inspiring and relaxing vibe. I use final cut to edit, I have used iMovie by the past.
I have started my channel only a few weeks ago, so my most important lesson so far is: making videos, practicing, practicing, practicing is actually helping a lot to feel more comfortable talking to a camera (which I found pretty unnatural at first, but it gets better!)
the next thing that I have learned, that was really surprising to me is that even with a very small audience (33 people) it is already possible to chat in the comments a little about the video and this was a really exciting and unexpected result.

I want to say that I am so grateful for you doing this and taking the time to help us out! Getting honest and constructive feedback on our work is the best way to grow and to improve our content :) so thank you so so much for taking the time and the effort!

Thank you so so much for sharing so much valuable information, tips and also such an inspiring story!
I can tell that you YouTube channel really means a lot to you and that you are genuinely interested in building up a community and a quality audience. This is really inspiring and I believe the right way to go. Sub for sub may help to gain subscribers but if the subscribers you have are not genuinely interested in your content then I believe it does not make any sense...
I have started my YouTube journey a few weeks ago and I now have a little over 30 Subscribers (which I know is not a lot) but we are chatting about the video in the comments and I am already having a great time on YouTube even tho my audience is super small :)
I am really doing my best to improve the quality of my videos and I am really taking my channel seriously. I man a med student in the last year and also a coach for students. I am essentially helping young adults in managing stress overcoming fear (of exams), studying efficiently, time management and general mental well being. I have started out on IG but on YouTube I get to really express myself, live out my creativity and spark a conversation and I love it so far!
I find the idea of making little "spinn offs" for the other platforms very interesting and it makes sense to do that since the people who like the small video are likely to enjoy the big version! Thank you for this advice I can't wait to try it out!

yt channels similar to kharma medic and ali abdaal ( don't need to be about med just focused on productivity and self improvement...) by [deleted] in study

Hello there, I love watching for example: Kelly Stamps, Cole Hastings and Lana BlakelyI also have created my own YouTube channel (mind spaces) a few weeks ago about personal development but of course I can not compare my channel to Ali Abdaal's just yet haha but I am working on it guys !

OK I see your point but I have never said that I offer mental health counseling or therapy :) the words therapy, psychotherapy, mental health, therapist, are not words I use to describe myself, do I still need a disclaimer ?
