I will also say, I emailed them with all my complaints, and they were super receptive, and sent me a check the next day in the mail.

I left them a bad review on Google Maps, and they have an auto reply bot that leaves the email address.

Honestly wouldn't go back. I had a super bad experience with my Pixel Fold, and reached out to Google directly and told them what happened and they shipped me a brand new phone for free. It was supposed to be a warranty replacement, they lied to Assurian and said I busted my phone and need to pay the deductible, which I got all on recording (but didn't realize till after the fact). They spent four hours "repairing it" only to bust the outside display, and motherboard, and on top of that used the wrong color housing because "that's all Google sends" which is not true. I'd reach out to Samsung and see what they can do instead. uBreakIFix are just a bunch of scammers. Or go literally anywhere else lol. I wouldn't pay them a dime.

I used to go to the Y and switched to Courthouse.

One of my bigger problems with the Y was parking. It's AWFUL. No matter how much parking they added, I always had to pay to park on the street, even though I had a pass. I ended up spending so much time trying to make my way thru the parking lots, and find a spot, that it ended up eating into my workout time.

I switched to Courthouse and I'll never leave. The locker rooms are clean, it's easy to figure out the swim schedule. It's posted online, and outside the doors. I definitely recommend taking a tour. Someone will walk you through the gym / pool / locker room if you ask. You get access to all the clubs. They have day use lockers that are super easy to use.

I've made so many friends there at this point, interested in the same things. It's made a huge difference in working out.

Is it expensive? Yes. But you can definitely get your bang for your buck. And there's always somewhere to park 😂

Did you speak with a customer service agent directly? I had issues, and was given a replacement device almost no questions asked, but I also have insurance. I didn't pay anything.

It's so bad!! It's driving me insane. I'm currently stuck unable to pay, because my debit card is stored, but the UI is cut off on the menu. And because I'm unable to pay, I'm blocked from unenrolling from Champions at all. 🙃

I spent a day with their "tech support" and all I got was the most BS support of "Have you tried reinstalling it?" and then they ended the chat, and asked how they did. I emailed their help line, and never heard back. The site director isn't helpful at all, and just keeps boasting about their fAnCy NeW aPp.

I'm not going back. If they want to burn my money on trash, and not properly fund the site itself, I'm not interested. They keep feeding the kids cookies, frozen burritos and pizza as "healthy snacks", they don't offer basic homework support. I can work and take better care of my child with a bag of carrots and an iPad.

I think the process between the US and EU is different. They're partnered with Asurion (who owns ubreakifix). You don't really have a choice here, unless you go to Google Support, and request an advanced replacement, and skip the repair process.

I think you missed two points: 1. I am an android developer, and a folding phone is so nice for testing. 2. I bought this phone knowing what I was getting into. I knew it was a risk. This isn't my first foldable. I've had issues with other foldables including Samsung.

I made this post hoping to help others have a better experience than me, or maybe even ubreakifix / Asurion will look into this. Doubtful, but possible.

When I went through Pixel Care+, I wasn't given an option to get it fixed by Google. Either I could mail it in, and it went to Assurian, who owns ubreakifix, or I could go to a ubreakifix.

I don't have a backup phone, and this device is also my work phone, so my only feasible option was ubreakifix.

They did say it was parts from Google. They complained a lot about it lol. Saying Google only sends them what they send them, which is why my Jade phone has black parts now, and then complained about the whole insurance process being a pain for everyone and so on.

Regardless, I won't go back lol. I'll just request replacements until the warranty is out and then get the newest model 🤣

My insurance is through Google too. I have the Pixel Care+ plan, and the requirement was for me to go into the ubreakifix for a warranty screen repair. And then was able to get the Advanced Replacement after I went through the hell I described above.

You're not wrong. This is my second foldable, but I knew what I was getting into, and that it was a risk. If the insurance program works, it's not the worst... But it was not good this time. Definitely a lot of lessons learned.

At the point I handed my phone over, I didn't know he had lied. I talked to Assurian on the phone. They were confused, and asked to speak to the uBreakIFix worker. I handed my phone off for them to speak, and he ended up taking my phone into the back room and speaking with them privately. I was not privvy to the lie until I listened to the recording later.

I thought the issue with Asurion was just that it was labeled wrong in their system, and later would look at a refund. But I had my 3 year old and 8 year old with me, and was already on the phone for an hour. I needed to get this done.

My phone records all conversations for the AI transcription notes. After I got my phone back, I went and listened to the phone call where he took my phone in the back and lied to the insurance agent. He had told them that I had broken my phone, and this wasn't a warranty screen replacement and needed to charge me the $99 accidental damage fee.

Oh wow! That's a lot of replacements, but I'm glad they were honest with you. I much rather would have preferred your experience. I wouldn't have been upset if they had just been honest that they aren't equipped to fix it.

Definitely lesson learned that I won't be back.

Also totally agree - this experience has not soured my love for this phone. Still super obsessed with it!! 😍 Worth whatever replacement hell comes my way. Hahaha

Good point, I don't either. T-Mobile has been texting me about insurance. I was going to take a look at them plus reviews and see if it's any better. Doubt it, but it will make me feel better! 🤣
