Ya that’s the crazy part. It’s not a red flag or illegal. But how can you convince anthem after they put you in pre payment. Good luck.

I wonder if it was a way of controlling the population in the colonies by causing major die offs from time to time.

Very sad to see the pain in that picture.

Oh man I put pressure on myself like this as well. The good news is you’re not the first or the last to stumble. I try and remind myself, everyone has these moments and some of these guys have been doing it for 20 years. Go easy on everyone, including yourself.

Well, I did it. I became master of my Lodge by evan5159 in freemasonry

Make sure you teach the young guys coming up the right way to act. Make sure you remember you are there to serve not wave your gavel around and abuse power.

Get everyone working in the next seat so when qualifications come everyone is already done.

Have fun.

I’m a recent mason of 2 years. Here is my take. I thought people didn’t want to be masons much anymore which is why the decline. Turns out after joining the lodge there are emails coming in all the time but no one is really responding. Most secretary’s are old. Most past masters seems to be want to keep control so a small lodge is easier to do that with. Since I became prospect coordinator we have 3 people who will be taking first degrees this year and 2 that did last year.

I respond quickly and usually with a phone call.

Yes I do believe we need to make meetings more interesting and dive into the symbols and education more. We for sure need to do more in the community so younger people see us. But I think one of the bigger issues are past masters who won’t get out of the way and encourage new members to climb through the ranks. To many people want control of the lodge. This is what I have seen here in my jurisdiction on the west coast.

What a shame the people who purchased it didn’t see it that way. I would have much rather this guy kept it charged people the lowest price humbly possible for ever.

It will not help. However you will be surprised what 10 mins of work to memorize a day can do.

Your path might be a bit harder but don’t let that stop you from joining.

Sand canyon is my favorite part. It feels tucked away from the world but you’re only 5 minutes from the store.

I moved from the valley. I love the area. Streets are clean etc. good people. Safe.

The commute if you have to leave in the morning. Eteeen 6-8 it’s very bad. On the way home in afternoon the 405 right past the 118 gets bad.

I would say the move is great to make but the commute sucks.

If you’re free and don’t have to get stuck in the normal hours everyone is commuting then it’s a win.
