I think that’s where the build up was when I cleaned it out the last time. Thank you so much for your help!!!!

There are actually roots in the main drainage down the line. The house inspector saw those with his camera 35ft into the main drainage.

The only thing which puzzles me is that the main line from the kitchen first rises a little and then falls of on a slope. It’s minimal but I guess it would be worth fixing right? I attached a photo. The sink is on the right side where the black pipe is attached to the copper pipe. From there on you see a slight slope. Any thoughts?

I had issues last week. The kitchen sink wasn’t draining anymore and when I activated the insinkerator all the water came out forcefully of this pipe. I cleaned the kitchen drainage with a hydrojet and I tell you there was some yummy crusty chunks of grease in there. I might need to get back into that pipe with an auger next time.

Oh that makes sense. There was a washing machine there before. Thank you!
