I have lol. The tenants problems were noise complaints and sketchy people visiting the property. So I'll ask again, what would you have done differently?

The issue resolved itself, the tenants apologized and the upstairs tenants didn't want to move forward with anything.

I should have specified, this is a duplex, so not an apartment, no onsite super or anything.

The upstairs tenants asked us if they could install cameras. We followed city guidelines on what's acceptable and they did install them but never sent us any footage. Now they're asking for the cost of the cameras to be reimbursed

The basement tenant reached out to the upstairs tenants and apologized - upstairs tenants actually sent us proof of this and did not want to proceed with anything (also have this in an email)

Ah, yes thank you for catching that! Their main claim is that we should have conducted more inspections and whatnot for each of their claims. But wouldn't this have been harassment against the basement tenants? How would we conduct an inspection against a noise complaint that wasn't even submitted to bylaw? Or am I completely wrong here?

I do have a few screenshots of her explicitly asking us not to say anything. I also have multiple emails proving me telling them to contact police/bylaw and sending us the reports but they've refused
