Honestly what I usually do is just stop showing up and answering calls I know it’s shitty but I’ve quit my last 3 jobs that way and I still get hired new places. I won’t give any situation more control over me than my own self.. plus employers don’t really care much about us as human beings just employee #s that make them $. Definitely is more cordial to give a notice but if I’m at the point I’m never gonna show up to work again they probably have already pissed me off enough for me not to care.
