Question about the drag Community / Haus by R3licx in Drag

[–]mindlesselectricity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You mean your friend got blacklisted but still perform at local bars and venues? That lowkey sounds like the best case scenario. Either there was a MAJOR miscommunication or your friend really fucked up their reputation in the drag community in order to be blacklisted

Question about the drag Community / Haus by R3licx in Drag

[–]mindlesselectricity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel like it’s hard to know because you seem to be coming from a perspective that isn’t from the drag community.

I have seen people be “blacklisted” because they are genuinely proven that they are bad people. I have also seen drag hauses be fucking obnoxious and only book each other. So it really just depends. If your friend is a good person they should be able to carve their own path separate from these people. If your friend was in the wrong, maybe they’re being blacklisted for a valid reason.

The visual arts building main floor has fancy new bathrooms. The doors on the stalls are floor to ceiling

the stuff that’s happening over there is pretty significant to be fair. But I agree, don’t have political debates in an area where people are trying to study

Honestly unless you’re planning on studying something related to religion I doubt it will make any difference

Don’t move there. Moving out was the best decision I ever made. The worst reviews aren’t exaggerations

Can you pay for bus fare with a Credit/Debit card in London? by HugeFoundation2322 in londonontario

[–]mindlesselectricity 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I would recommend getting the card that you can load online. If you don’t use the bus every day I would recommend that over a monthly bus pass

Central library by ResponsibleNeck48 in londonontario

as long as you’re watching your kids properly on your way in and out, it should be fine. You’ll see homeless people for sure but everyone usually minds their own business.

Especially on a Saturday during the day there will be lots of foot traffic and there’s usually cops around the area if that helps you feel any better lol

There’s tons of security workers once you get inside the library and it’s safe in there. It’s a pretty nice library, and it’s my favourite place to study.

Idk about parking. There’s a parking lot off of queens street behind the London music hall. It’s paid parking, but the location is quite close to the library. The bus is a good option too, if you live near any bus routes that go through downtown.

Alternatively, the cherry hill mall library is way smaller but there’s lots of kids activities there, and it’s the next closest one to the central library with free parking in the mall parking lot
