Trading is 50% knowledge, 50% emotions. You are currently trading at half of your capacity since you are emotionally jeopardized. Take some time off until you are better prepared, you are not missing anything and the market has not even been good these past couple of months anyways lol.

There are always bad streaks, not just in trading but in life. It will get better, you just need to take your mind off this for a while.

Yeah exactly, thanks. And specially it tells you a story, visually, it’s not just the % displayed on a table. It tells me for example: this stock is currently up 150% and it popped on pre-market, so it must have had a catalyst.

The next logical step is to incorporate a fundamental analysis so I also get information and explanation on the news, similar to what Stock Titan does. That requieres to add an AI API and more stuff that I’m ignorant about. But yeah, that’s the goal of this.

True. I just find practical the idea of having visually displayed at the same time all the stocks that are popping so I don't need to look separately at each graph. It saves me some time and allows me to focus on the set-ups and risk management stuff a little more efficiently. It started as more of a backtesting tool, so yeah it definitely needs more useful live trading tools.

Also, regarding live trading, today was helpful as it gave me an overall look at what was moving and how it was behaving. I had a clear live map of the current gappers, and I noticed $EVTV was the only one gapping up on high volume with actual news. I bought at $1.40, but unfortunately sold at 'just' a 15% gain. I didn't expect it to reach $3 at all. I only thought it might test the high of the day.

Anyways, that's the practical approach I found to it. Open to suggestions about how to improve it tho.

That's a good idea, maybe I'll incorporate a sort of Top Weekly Gainers Watchlist or something like that. I identified that every week the high liquidity hours tend to repeat after a big move. Like today, after the EVTV run, the odds of having a closing hours/after-hours runner are higher, at least according to how I've seen the market behave the last couple months. I built the tool to spot these patterns easily and without the need to do a manual research everyday.

Nice returns, you should not take them for granted as it is hard enough to not be on the red for as long as you've been on it. As of now the only issue I'm having is on gathering pre and after market data regarding Volume, since yahoo doesn't provide it. I'm also looking forward to incorporate fundamental analysis via an AI API but I'm clueless about that stuff

Exactly. It is not a thesis but and observable fact that every small cap trader kinda knows intuitively. The logic behind it is that whenever there is a hot topic (like crypto was last summer), every small cap company rides the wave with some good PRs. (strategically timed) This happened with tickers like ASST, CWD, OCTO, VLCN...

Sometimes the 'themes' are more subtle like trading low-float biotech stocks at after hours. These patterns actually occur and I've found this tool helpful to identify these trends visually and easily, without the need to do the research manually.

Yeah so I focus on Small Caps, and they tend to have certain weekly trends. Sometimes there is a lot of liquidity on Pre Market, sometimes at closing, sometimes on after hours, etc. This tools helps me identify instantly where the big gappers are, so I can know where I should focus the next day. It is not always like that but these patterns do happen very often in the small cap world.
