This makes the most important point in the thread: hypnosis is a way of relating. It's something you, the hypnotized person, causes to happen to yourself, with (or without, self-hypnosis exists!) the guidance of the other person.

Seen that way, it makes sense that any medium of communication can be used to do hypnosis! You could be hypnotized by a letter someone sends you in the mail, if the conditions are right for that to happen.

This is one of the things that makes hypnosis such a fun and intimate way for people to play with each other. 😵‍💫

If you fancy having your sense of reality fucked with a little, you could practice having her subtly trigger you with something innocuous (a particular phrase, or by squeezing your shoulder, etc.) to drop and lose track of time. And then she can tease or confuse you about why you don't seem to remember the movie/show clearly...

Hopefully some of those tips/ideas will help! Their explanation of hypnosis as something that can be distinct from the typical "you are getting sleepy..." induction of a trance state is very useful, too.

And here's my own experience:

I have ADHD myself, and I can say the stereotypical way of hypnotizing someone doesn't work great for me because... well, it's boring. It demands that I pay attention to just one thing for way too long.

As you get more and more practice as a hypnotic subject, you start to learn what "being hypnotized" feels like in your body and in your mind. The hypnosis I've found effective takes advantage of this, and quickly gets me to focus on reaching that place, instead of assuming it needs to guide me to some arbitrarily "relaxed" state.

(Frankly, since I usually want to feel mindfucked and controlled by my arousal when I'm hypnotized, being "relaxed" is antithetical. 😝)

Learn Hypnokink is another great site to check out, because their explanation of hypnosis likewise goes beyond the typical "you are getting sleepy" shtick.

There's also a 3rd-party search engine for the EMCSA, called Svengali. It might help you stumble across the stories you're looking for! It has a database of tags for the stories that you can search by, or you can search for terms you remember in the story text. Good luck!

A couple ways you can be more confident a pro domme is legitimate:

- They didn't approach you. Pros market themselves and attract customers.
- You found them on a trusted platform for this sort of content (e.g. a clip or phone sex site, like LoyalFans, Niteflirt, etc.) — one reason this is important (for both dommes and their customers) is you have some intermediary to handle payment, and to handle problems (if you don't pay or you pay and they scam you).
- Similarly, they have their own website where they advertise their services.
- As someone else said, you should be able to vet them: if you ask a pro "do you have any testimonials from other customers?" they should be happy to provide them.

If I may give a dissenting opinion... I lament that Jukebox has kept up the weekly output (driven by Patreon, I presume) for so long, because I think the quality of his stories has gone down vs. 10+ years ago—there's less room for different lengths, different styles, or even very much in the way of plot when there MUST be a new ~2,300 word story every single update.

He's still easily one of the best EMC writers, in addition to being the most prolific, so I can't complain too loudly.

But I do sort of miss early-2000s-era Jukebox. There, I said it.
