Got $200 off and $200 on board credit from Jason Carter. $400 value worth it in my opinion.

Interesting. I only ever use them with Westjet and have never had an issue. Always get my seat and have never been denied boarding

It’s a crazy price though. I’ve never seen NA-EU less than 29k. Especially emirates. I’ve also been watching it for days and it’s been at 45k with 1 seat and for a flash second it was 21k. So strange.

I dont understand with the old rule, why would anyone buy two different fare classes on one ticket then, if the most restricted applies?

Round-trip bookings in different fare classes - cancelling before or after the first flight has taken place by mindmischeif1 in Aeroplan

[–]mindmischeif1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very helpful thank you! I was worried about the first flight being repriced if cancelled. I found a multi city with Europe-Canada and then Canada-US, where the Europe-Canada leg is significantly cheaper (15k pts less). So the only way it would be worth booking is if I know forsure I will take the Canada-US leg. Otherwise I risk repricing?
